What happens when Sakura's heart starts beating for Kiyomi, and she goes after everyone who hurt her soulmate? Will she cancel the contract and embrace love, or will she stay the stoic soulless queen with nothing to live for?

And even better, how long can Sakura fight fate?

There really was no getting out of this with ease, but to be fair it wasn't like there were that many reasonable options for them. Perhaps they just had to wait and see how this would play.


And so together the trio walked back home, opting for the long road instead of portals just in case they managed to change their minds along the way.


This was why, when they got to the palace and Otaru went to the queen to report their findings, they had expected anger or something close to a crash-out, seeing as Mika and Cronos had hurt Kiyomi Kimura, yet they had come back empty-handed. 


"You didn't come with good news, did you?" Sakura asked when she saw you standing at the door of her study. She could see the worry on his face and yet there was a hint of plea for mercy too.
