I left the Hostess still smiling to myself shortly after that and headed home. I was easily recognized on the street from my face tattoos so no one dared get in my way or try to ruin my good mood. By this point my reputation as an equal to Ottar alone meant only someone suicidal would try and pick a fight with me or bother me. When I finally got home Hestia tackled me again clearly relieved that I was alright. There was another grand party to celebrate my return and victory over the giant that night.-

I still didn't qualify for level up but my stats were already at the ranks where a normal adventurer would look for an opportunity. Considering that the difficulty of raising a stat grows after each new rank the fact I had jumped three in all of my stats but magic told just how much smoke the giant gave me.-
"And you thought your momentum had stopped." Hestia said shaking her head already long since numb to my mind destroyingly fast growth.
"I meant what I said and still do. This time was an exception given what I killed. From now on it will take me much much more to progress. The fact I haven't qualified for level up despite killing two beasts of both great power and infamy is proof enough of this fact." I said honestly as I looked over my status.
"So what now? Will you just disappear into the dungeon as you push as far as you can like the Loki familia or will you focus on crafting?" she asked seriously.
"I'll be focusing on my crafting for now. My strength has seen great advances so it's only natural I try and advance my crafting as well. And as fate would have it I just so happen to have some new materials to work with that should be perfect for this." I said with a grin.
"You already have ideas? Ah who am I kidding, of course you do. Just try not to make every god in the world want to find you this time okay?" she said and I just chuckled.
"No promises. It shouldn't turn out like that though, probably, maybe, kinda." I said with a laugh.
I wasn't lying though as a few of my ideas shouldn't have any troublesome bits to them at all. For example I intended to recreate my healing coffin using the giants bones as it's regeneration ability is absolutely of a far greater tier than the Goliaths. Another example is that I was going to purposefully damage my weapon so I could feed it some of the material from the Knuckelavee and giant to make it better than ever.-
Other than that I didn't have any concrete plans just yet. Some vague ones sure but nothing solid. Like for one I knew I wanted to turn the Knuckelavee's materials into weapons but the specifics of what exactly those will be is not yet set. There was also the matter of the flesh, blood and organs of the thing that I needed to hand over to Miach to transform into potions. For the giant I considered using it's skull to upgrade my workshop as right now it was only made of level one orc bones and frankly a joke to break into as a result.-
The skull of the giant alone was the size of the entire mansion so after refining it a bit it would likely have way more than enough material for this project. The hide of the giant was going towards armor however. It was already a material strong enough to take level six or seven attacks before barely breaking so after refinement I possessed literally nothing better for armor minus the Draconite. Even in that materials case it wasn't ideal for armor as it had no give and thus would get in the way of movement.-
With my plans set in place I spent the next three days working on finally processing the materials from these two ancient calamities. That and rejecting all the gods who wanted a piece of them simply because of their historical and rarity value. The two beasts were unique as far as everyone knew and that meant any piece of them was worth hundreds of millions of valis regardless of size. For the Knuckelavee this wasn't a huge problem as the materials didn't take up more space than I had in my workshop and thus could be hidden there for processing.-
For the giant however I was forced to process them out in the open land of our property due to the sheer size of the stuff. No one had proven stupid enough to try and take any of the materials so far. But as for bugging me to sell some of it, well that was a very different matter. As it turns out "no" doesn't have that much stopping power when gods actually want something. Some tried seduction others outright buying material. None wanted to accept that I simply didn't want to give away any of it.-
What a fucking joke! These were level seven materials, unique ones to boot! If I could just go find another of the things to get more I wouldn't care too much since I have plenty but the fact was this was fucking it. There was no restocking the stores with this shit once it was gone. So as far as I was concerned these people could all kindly fuck off before they find out how little I give a shit about their being divine beings.
