Magmordor-"Come to me! My masterpieces!"
The giant lava monsters that look like well cut statues surround the ship.
Julius-"I'll deal with the monsters real quick"
Julius flies towards the giant monsters.
Julius-"Omni particle control: anti matter bullet"
Julius fires a tiny pebble made of 1 milligram of anti matter. The anti matter is contained inside of a small vacuum shell that prevents it from igniting in the air. The pebble hits the head of the lava monster and explodes with a force of over 40 tons of TNT. The blast causes the monster's head to be destroyed. The monster starts to quickly regenerate its head.
Julius-"These things are a little durable, plus regeneration makes it so explosives like anti matter aren't the way to go"
Julius looks into the water and sees the first monster they destroyed on the way over has almost finished regenerating.
Julius-"That one was blasted to smithereens and it's still regenerating?"
Voice-"These monsters aren't creating more mass through regeneration. Rather they are able to shape shift their bodies. However this property seems to be heavily focuses on by the creator, so they can pull themselves back together even if they are reduced to trillions of pebbles"
Julius(in his head)-"I see, then this new attack will be my best bet"
Julius-"Omni particle control: strange matter corrosion and restoration"
Julius shoots out multiple pellets of strange matter. Just like the anti matter the pellets have a vacuum around them so they don't interact with the environment. The pellets strike the lava monsters and begin converting them into more strange matter.
Magmordor-"Is that some kind of acid"
Joe-"Evolved skill: Charged shot, piercing style"
Joe fires off and arrow that he was powering up for a few seconds. The arrow pierces through Magmordor's head
Magmordor-"How dare you!"
Magmordor(in his head)-"Based on his mana that human is the weakest of this group. And even he could still harm me like this?"
Joe-"Took me a few months on the island but I was finally strong enough to get an evolved skill. With charge shot my arrow's power grows exponentially stronger each second I wait before firing it"
Magmordor-"And why do I need to know that?"
Marigold-"No need to be so rude. Holy water, bullet rain"
Marigold creates thousands of small holy water droplets that shoot forward leaving lots of small holes in Magmordor's body.
Marigold-"It took Joe a lot of training to get that, he's really proud of it"
Joe-"...thanks"
Joe(in his head)-"I thought I'd sound cool explaining my power but now I just feel embarrassed"
Joe-"I'll just, charge up another one... evolved skill: charged shot, ultimate arrow"
Joe begins charging his arrow.
Elise-"I was hoping this guy would be stronger. It sucks that he's so weak! Evolved skill: scorching constellation!"
Elise creates dozens of large orange spheres of plasma.
Elise-"Still, it's annoying that I have to find and destroy wherever his core is. I'll just destroy his whole body to be safe"
The dozens of large plasma spheres start flying towards Magmordor.
Magmordor-"I will not he humiliated! Lava skill: beams of compressed magma"
Magmordor shoots out multiple streams of high pressure lava. The beams hit the plasma spheres. The beams get evaporated on contact but are strong enough to prevent the spheres from moving closer to him.
Magmordor-"Hah! And you thought-"
Elise sprints towards Magmordor appearing right in front of him.
Elise-"Evolved skill: infinite supernovas"
Elise unleashes a barrage of punches. Each punch creates a small explosion of plasma melting more and more of Magmordor's body. After punching him several hundred times Magmordor is launched into the air with one final uppercut. As he flies into the air he gets hit by the plasma spheres that merge together trapping him inside.
Magmordor-"AAAAGGGHHHH!"
Magmordor's body gets melted inside of the large plasma sphere.
Elise-"Well no way his core survived that"
Adam-"Hey Julius? You got the monsters all dealt with?"
The group looks out. All of the giant lava monsters have been converted to strange matter which results in them glowing with a mix of orange, yellow, and blue. Once they were all fully converted they then transform into water and fall into the ocean. Julius floats back down to meet back up with the group.
Julius-"Yep, all dealt with. Strange matter is really good at dealing with creatures that can regenerate. Although I would consider strange matter to be the most dangerous substance in the universe, which is why I avoided using it for so long"
Marigold-"Yeah I think you're better off using strong acid instead. Since I think I remember you mentioning a tiny bit of strange matter being able to destroy a planet"
Julius-"That's why I've got it on a time delay to turn into the surrounding environment. Even if I die or run out of mana before the time delay is up it will still convert into water or stone"
Damion-"That stuff is just out in space. A bit of it hits the planet and poof"
Julius-"Same with black holes, a small black hole hits the planet and it will get sucked up after a little bit"
Marigold-"Space is terrifying"
Another beam of plasma pierces through the ball of plasma and strikes Elise. Elise instinctively raises her arm up to block it. Magmordor climbs out of the miniature star and lands back down on the boat.
Adam-"He's still alive?"
Magmordor-"You thought you could burn me to death? I'm the master of Magma! And you dare destroy my masterpieces!? You will all pay!"
Elise wipes the magma off of her arm.
Elise-"Great so I can't burn this guy. Hey Damion, steal their soul"
Magmordor-"What-"
A beam flies through the air and disintegrates Magmordor's upper torso. His core was in there and got vaporized. Magmordor's lower body turns to stone and crumbles. The group looks behind them and sees Joe panting with his bow.
Joe-"Hah! I did it!"
Elise-"I forgot you were charging that up"
Damion-"Good shot Joe"
Joe-"Thank you"
Joe wipes his forehead of sweat while Julius floats over to Elise.
Julius-"Hey Elise, don't tell Damion to steal a person's soul. You know he's not allowed to do that"
Elise-"I know, but they're, well, they were a demon"
Julius-"Still..."
Captain-"Is it over?"
The group looks back and sees the captain who is accompanied by the ship's guards coming down to greet them.
Adam-"Yes sir, monster has been dispatched"
Captain-"Thank you all so much! You saved the lives of everyone on this ship. How can we repay you"
Elise-"Money obviously"
Captain-"Of course!"
The captain runs off.
Adam-"Elise!"
Elise-"What? This seemed to be a boat full of rich people. Plus Julius still can't replicate the pattern on the back of gold coins"
Julius-"I can make a machine that can though"
Elise-"Anyone with an identify skill could tell they're counterfeit"
Joe-"Well I'm not against getting paid, and I'm the one who killed the demon so it's my choice"
Julius-"Fine"
The captain comes back with two bags of gold coins.
Captain-"This is half of what we had in storage. Please take it"
Elise-"Half?"
Adam lightly punches Elise is the shoulder.
Adam-"Thank you sir"
Captain-"Would you all like a ride back to the archipelago?"
Guard 1-"Captain, you know we are not allowed to sail any closer to the islands. Plus they were able to fly here pretty fast on their own"
Julius-"Actually"
The captain turns to face at the glowing blue dot that is Julius.
Julius-"Maybe you could take us back to the mainland. We were thinking it was about time for us to head back"
Marigold-"Oh a cruise on the way back? How relaxing"
Joe-"Would be nice after a year of fighting monsters"
Captain-"I would be delighted to bring you along with us"
The ship's sails are lowered and it begins to set sail to continue the cruise trip.
Julius-"Just think about it guys, before coming to this archipelago, defeating that demon would have been extremely difficult"
Marigold-"We probably couldn't even have beaten him before"
Joe-"I know for sure I couldn't have"
Julius-"It just shows how much stronger we've gotten. I just know, nothing's gonna get in our way now!"
The scene changes to show the S ranks Atlas and Oswald talking in a secluded room. Oswald is showing Atlas a series of documents.
Atlas-"That's impossible, it's only been 900 years not 1,000"
Oswald-"It should be impossible but somehow, the demon lord will return soon, and if my calculations are correct. He will be much stronger than before"
