The group continues fighting the monster. Meanwhile Joe is using a magic arrow in his hand to stab at the bubble containing Julius.
Joe(in his head)-"What do I do!?"
Joe looks forward and sees Damion inside a crater in the wall severely injured from being hit by the monster.
Joe(in his head)-"It looks like Damion is already out of the fight"
Joe looks over and sees Adam, Elise, and Marigold fighting the giant monster. Adam dashes underneath it to continue slashing its legs over and over while Elise attacks its upper torso. Marigold is using her holy water magic to attack from a distance. The monster continues to target her.
Joe(in his head)-"Everyone else's attacks are barely doing anything. The little damage they do to it is almost instantly regenerated. Our only hope would be for it to run out of mana so it couldn't heal itself. But we'll run out long before it does"
Joe's arrow shatters against the ultra dense space bubble.
Joe(shouting)-"AGH! Archery skill: magic arrow"
Joe creates another arrow and grabs it to continue striking at the small bubble.
Joe-"This stupid bubble is small enough to fit in my hand. And yet no matter how hard I try I can't break it"
Joe(in his head)-"Any attacks I throw at that monster won't hurt it at all. The best thing I can do is get Julius out of this. With his support skills he can heal Damion and make everyone stronger"
Joe-"Julius can you hear me!? I really need you to get out of that thing"
Julius(in his head)-"I'm trying! Not being able to talk to them is infuriating. If I don't get out of this things soon they could all die!"
Voice-"There is good news, the monster is having to spend energy keeping you contained. This means it isn't fighting the others at full strength"
Julius(in his head)-"That monster is a lot stronger than I am. The amount of energy he's putting towards keeping me here can't be that much"
Voice-"I said it was good news not great news"
Julius(internally screaming)-"The only news I want to hear from you is how to break out of this thing!"
Voice-"I've been analyzing your skills to determine a way out of this prison. I have come up with a possible solution"
Adam(in his head)-"Me and Elise thought of this strategy a long time ago for fighting giant monsters. I slash at the legs to tear up the tendons while Elise smashes its face in to knock it over. Unfortunately..."
Adam slashes the back of the monster's leg right above its foot. The small cut is immediately healed.
Adam(yelling)-"This things clearly doesn't have any tendons. It's a plant monster with instant regeneration! Our toppling method isn't working!"
Elise-"It would work if you put some more effort into your weak swings!"
Elise dashes to the side to dodge the monster's fist slamming down at her. She then jumps up in the air.
Elise-"Evolved skill: solar flash fist!"
Elise punches the monster in the side of its head. Which causes it to reel back a little bit. She then grabs onto its hair with her other hand and pulls herself toward's its face.
Elise(yelling)-"Go down already!"
Elise begins hitting its face repeatedly while holding onto its hair.
Elise(in her head)-"Come on, punch your own face to try to get me off. I know you want to!"
The monster's yellow glowing eyes narrow. It's hair turn's spiky like a thorn bush which cuts Elise's hand. The hair then sprouts forward and pierces through Elise's side.
Adam(shocked yelling)-"Elise!"
The hair extends more launching Elise into the ceiling. The monster then kicks backwards to hit Adam. Adam deflects it with his sword but he's still launched backwards.
Marigold-"No!"
With Adam and Elise knocked away the monster immediately runs towards Marigold.
Marigold(in her head)-"Adam and Elise got knocked away. This thing is way out of our league"
The monster turns its hair into dozens of long thorn vines and shoots them towards Marigold.
Marigold-"water skill: water dash"
Marigold creates water that she glides along like ice skates to dodge the vines.
Marigold-"Holy skill: holy water blast"
After dodging the vines Marigold shoots a beam of holy water which burns the monster.
Marigold(in her head)-"It takes longer for the monster to regenerate from the holy magic than it does to regenerate from Adam and Elise. But I can't shoot enough of it to matter"
The monster jumps forward and slams into the ground but Marigold manages to just barely dodge.
Marigold(in her head)-"The power boost that Julius gave me earlier has already worn off. If I had it I could do more damage"
Elise-"(groans) that seriously stings"
Elise is bleeding from a hole in her stomach and multiple cuts around her body.
Elise-"That thing got me good, I'm loosing a lot of blood, but..."
Elise puts her hand to the hole in her stomach and covers her hand in blood.
Elise(yelling)-"I REFUSE TO LOOSE TO AN OVERGROWN PALE SPONGE!!!"
Elise's blood in her hand ignites into a blue flame.
Elise-"The most powerful skill I can muster is created by increasing my internal temperature. However since blood is an internal thing, I can raise its temperature too. Now kindly burn in hell! Evolved skill: blue giant's core"
Elise launches the giant blue plasma beam towards the monster.
The monster ignites and begins to severely burn all over. The monster begins to scream in pain.
Marigold-"I didn't think Elise could output that much power. I can't waste this opportunity holy skill: purification"
While the monster is burning Elise begins to extract the dark magic from its body.
Elise(exhausted)-"How's that? You ugly plant..."
Elise falls from her crater in the ceiling and falls to the ground.
