At the Cinema
" Here is your popcorn " Kelvin said handing the popcorn to Mary
" Thanks" she said as she took from it and had a bite " Yummy and tasty" she said
" You haven't eaten a popcorn before?" He asked her
" I have, but not as delicious as this" she said laughing
Touching her nose playfully "you little cutie, come let's go inside before the movie is over" he said.
They held hands and made their way inside.
" You said you were interested in horror so I booked us to watch Bloody Xmas" he told her when they have gotten a sit
" Its gonna be interesting" she said to him.
They did enjoy the movie for the forty minutes it had been playing until they were interrupted by a strange man
" Excuse me to take a sit over there" the man said to Kelvin when he was crossing in front of him to sit at the empty chair beside Mary
" Sure" Kelvin said making a way for him. Mary stare angrily at the man who she had recognized as Joe. He devilishly smiled at her before taking a sit beside her. All that time they were seated, Joe kept on touching her hands and thigh rudely
" I need to use the restroom" she quickly told Kelvin getting up from her seat
" Do you want me to come with you ?" He asked
" No kelvin, I can take care of myself" she said with a smile on her face
" Alright" he responded. Mary made her way out to the restroom. She rinsed her face with the tap water before starring at herself on the wall mirror, she smiled at herself on the mirror for some minutes
" My smiles aren't even genuine, It's really hard for me to get what i want" she said to herself
" Your true happiness is with me, I am the only one who can take care of you" Joe said behind the door
" Why did you do that to her?" She asked him why washing her hands
" Because I have no one to play with. Come home with me Mary and I will set her free" he told her
" I was never bound for happiness since birth; the dark part of me has always been awakened to ruin every happy moments i have and it even brought you to our lives, none of us are ever going to be free from you, ..." She said as she quickly dash to him and stabbed him on his left chest with the pocket knife she had with her
"Your brother wasn't even free from you" she said again.
She came out ten minutes later and was startled by kelvin who was standing outside the restroom
" K... kelvin " she said exhaling
" You took long and was almost missing the ending part of the movie " he said
" Sorry, I had a running stomach earlier. I couldn't tell you because I was embarrassed " she said
" I guess you are better now, let's go home since you are feeling uncomfortable" he told her
" Sure " she said closing the door to the restroom.
It took them thirty minutes drive to get back to the beach. The moment they got close to the house. Mary was shocked to see Melinda sitting outside with the rest of the people
