24 hours passed without the police finding Mary nor Kelvin saying anything as he has been silent at the police custody.
"What are we going to do? Kelvin will be arrested for a crime she knows nothing about" Melinda said
"We should testify, Kelvin is our friend; we can't pretend like we know nothing about it" Derek said
"What if the police starts suspecting us too, we would be charged for hiding a murderer" Claire said to them looking scared
"I and Derek will testify that Kelvin is Innocent, no one deserves to be wrongly accused" Timmy said
"It's my fault, I shouldn't have considered her human with the tiniest part of me" Melinda said
"Don't blame yourself, that is what Mary probably wants...Fuck her; we will be fighting for our friend and i pray she gets hit by a car wherever she is hiding" Claire angrily said
"We are leaving now before they lock up Kelvin, if we can't save him; we can at least delay them and change their mind about Kelvin being her accomplice" Derek told them

Mary Light her cigar while looking down the river, she puffs the smokes into the air when she had smoked her cigar.
"I guess I am stuck again just like my sister had said, that bitch is always right" she said forcing out her laugh
"Love, happiness and good people never seems to last long for people like me, I can't even kill myself; that would make my enemies win this game they had set me to play " she said to herself again
"I can never let anyone decide my life again" she said with a smile as tears drops down her eye.

" The two are free to go now" came the police voice interrupting Kelvin and Derek who were speaking with the police
" What do you mean?" Derek asked
" The murderer has been arrested, she walked in herself " the police responded.
Kelvin quickly ran out of the interrogation room after been released by the police who had come in. He was surprised to see two police escorting Mary inside with her hands cuffed
" I am sorry and I love you" she mouthed to him before looking away.
