Kaka took a deep breath and silently glanced at Huo Beijiang. His expression froze as he met Huo's worried gaze, and the madness that gripped the depths of his eyes gradually faded.
He gave a wry smile. "You noticed, huh?" He didn't wait for Huo Beijiang to respond and continued on his own: "Right now, I really want to blow everything up!"
"Doesn't it sound crazy?"
Huo Beijiang's face changed color slightly as he nodded, then shook his head, "You still know how to control yourself, that means there's still hope."
He could actually understand Kaka—a person who grew up in a vortex of power, dealing with deceit and bloody violence at every turn. Over time, even the most normal people would become overwhelmed. Kannaya itself was a massive mess; even though a century of civil strife had been quelled, the various hidden dangers and conflicts were still emerging without end.
