The cloud of dust floating in the dark vacuum was as beautiful as a wonder, as it would have been classified back on Earth. Only, out there, when seen with the whole universe, it was nothing special, even though it was colorful, beautiful, and big enough to have its width measured in light-years upon light-years.
Like a small representation of a rainbow galaxy, it remained suspended in the emptiness, its form shifting according to rules only depending on itself, its state self contained, away from any influence.
The deceptively unmoving cloud suddenly spat out a breath at its center, spitting out a wisp of colorful glitters like a whip that extended into the small patch of darkness it was surrounding. The wisps extended over hundreds of thousands of kilometers, before it exploded at its tip, letting out a pale blue glow that pierced through its flimsy obstruction with the silent impression of something popping sound.
