The silence that fell onto the bridge this time came more from a sudden feeling of stagnation, a stagnation which was due to a sudden and surprising dip in temperature within the controlled environment of the spaceship. And besides the temperature that made the place start to resemble the snow white world outside somewhat, there seemed to be a dip in the pressure too.
Hannah's eyes widened. The younger Specter glanced at the older Specter on Lucas's lap, thought back to the invisible contention in the palace they had been received in at planet Inception, swallowed her saliva, looked away from the indifferent face that seemed a tad more expressionless than usual, and turned to focus on the more interesting command console before her. Her breathing turned lighter, pulling her already tired presence even lower.
