"So, did you find anything interesting?"
Lucas's voice pulled Jack out of his thoughts, and he raised his head. Pushing the naivety death's seduction had made rise in him aside, he shook his head, then nodded:
"I found something, though nothing really surprising."
"I'm all ears."
Jack raised an eyebrow at the calm words. He looked down at his miserable appearance, debatably better than how he was looking before his impromptu shower, then shook his head after a glance at Lucas's back. At least, he had been spared deeper embarrassment with the white-haired Ghost coming alone.
