The ruined city shook as two figures flew back in opposite directions. An unfinished tower shook as Yin's body shot through twenty floors before finally stopping. Her arm was numb from the extremely violent impact and her aura had taken a hit but she was otherwise okay.
"He's got no magic.. Just physical power. But damn if he isn't the strongest opponent I've faced yet.." Yin muttered, seeing Garmr slide to a stop after his body bulldozed through several wrecked vehicles.
He seemed to cackle as he stepped forward, grabbing onto two wrecked cars and throwing them. The several tonne vehicles flew into the tower at mach one, plowing straight through the steel support, concrete and wood like they were made of paper. Yin immediately moved away from the danger, teeth grit in a ferocious grin as she dodged the flying cars.
Yin then opened her arms and caught one, sliding back from the velocity before throwing it back and dashing out the window.
*CRASH!*
Yin used 'Mana hike' as more cars rocketed into the tower, causing it to start collapsing from the extreme impact and weight slamming into it.
"Heh.." Garmr, seeing Yin quickly close in on him while using mana platforms to kick off, grinned with a ferocious excitement.
He sidestepped an axe kick that practically upheaved half the street he was standing on and kicked her straight up into the air, making her body shoot up faster than a fired bullet.
*CRACKA-BOOOM!*
Yin had the air kicked out of her lungs, having to force herself to a stop and use her wings as she gasped and breathed heavily. She saw a black blur below, quickly leaping off ruined buildings before jumping at her.
Yin pressed her hands together and pushed her fire and darkness mana out of her throat, coalescing into a breath of both elements.
▂▂▃▃▄▄▄▄▅▅▅▅!!
Black flames flew out in a massive fan shape, both burning the very air it touched and corroding whatever it came into contact with. Garmr held his arms up as he was pushed back down by the breath that burned and destroyed several ruined buildings and a tower.
*CRACK!*
His feet sunk into the semi-crystallized abandoned street, taking a look around as Grimm burned and eroded away under the black flames. He looked at his scorched armor on his arms, seeing some of his white plate crumble at the edges.
"Ahh you remind me of the old man.." He grinned, almost savagely as he crouched his legs and stared up at Yin.
"No more holdin' back. You better not die too fast. Not when I'm starting to have fun!!" Garmr's body blurred and a shockwave shattered near every remaining window left within Mountain Glenn's ruins.
Meanwhile, with Yang...
*BZZZT!!*
Crackling lightning rained down from above, forcing Yang to move away while Carmilla floated above. In the ruined steets, lightning came down in the form of giant spears. After being injured Carmilla had taken to the skies, where she thought she could be free to annihilate Yang from afar.
*SCREEEETCH!!*
As it turned out, Yang and Yin could fly. She had no room to breathe, as Yang relentlessly chased her throughout the sky. Her claws of light mana clashing with Carmilla's lightning spears before the resulting mana explosions pushed them away.
Carmilla huffed, her annoyance rising as Yang once more began to move.
Yang's claws arced back before slicing horizontally. A wave of sharp light shot of her hands and flew at Carmilla.
"Really? With such an obvious trajectory? Did you forget we were in the air, you blonde bimbo?" Carmilla mocked as she flew over the wave just in time to see several more light waves coming at her, forcing her to dodge, as she knew just touching that light would hurt.
Carmilla was stuck between a rock and a hard place. The light coming at her relentlessly was almost blinding in its intensity and fighting against it with lightning would only obstruct her vision more. While she was dodging the incoming barrage of light, she heard Yang's voice behind her and quickly turned to see the blonde right behind her with her claws reared, ready to strike.
"Nah. I didn't forget~" Yang replied with a toothy grin as she swung her claws at Carmilla's head.
"NO!" Carmilla immediately moved back while turning into lightning again and threw her arms up in defense.
As soon as she did, she felt that searing pain again. This time, her arms burned and hissed. After she got far enough away, she grit her teeth and glared hatefully at Yang before realizing what the blonde was holding.
Her entire right forearm and hand, being played with like a toy as Yang's claws burned away her Grimm flesh.
"Wow.. I really gotta 'hand' it to ya. You're fast. But your magic ain't as potent as mine~" Yang joked, waving Carmilla's severed hand at her.
"Enough... Enough of this!! I don't care anymore. You die here.." Carmilla whispered as she ascended up further, into the clouds.
Lightning arced across the sky as nearly black clouds formed around Carmilla. Like a living storm, they swirled around her form and rumbled with deafening thunder.
"Damn.. I can't punch her anymore." Yang looked up, seeing Carmilla disappear into the largest storm she'd ever seen.
*RUMBLE*
Yang quickly dove away as a building sized bolt of lightning lit up the sky as it tore through the air and obliterated the entire building next to her. Her aura flared as red electricity arced across the Witchblade armor she wore.
"Shit! Yeah, there's no helping it this time. She's going all out. It's time we do too." Yang stated, calling the Witchblade back to her bracelet while glancing at Yin, who was at the other side of the ruined town. Despite Yin having just been blasted through several tons of concrete, Yang knew her sister well enough to understand she'd reached the same conclusion.
𝕿𝖍𝖚𝖒𝖕-𝕿𝖍𝖚𝖒𝖕/𝕿𝖍𝖚𝖒𝖕-𝕿𝖍𝖚𝖒𝖕
Both hearts beat faster at once and the ruins glowed with gold and dark purple magical energy. A black Dragon blasted through debris in the West and a white Dragon rose higher into the sky in the East.
Both Mythic Grimm narrowed their eyes as they felt the absurd levels of mana and strength pouring out of the two.
Yin rammed straight into Garmr, utilizing her Dragon body to the fullest while her heart was fueling her magic. She managed to push Garmr back a hundred meters before he struck her chin and flipped her large body over, slamming her straight through a rusted bus.
"THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' BOUT!!" Garmr gleefully screamed as he leapt up, intending to full force dropkick Yin while he had her down.
Her eyes widened and she quickly ignited both her fire and darkness magic around her, coating herself in black flames as a protective shield. Though Garmr had already committed and didn't care, slamming straight down into Yin's chest with an unbelievably powerful kick.
*CRAAAAAASH!!*
Yin tumbled through a couple of cars and buildings before sliding to a stop. The kick had cracked quite a few scales and bruised her hide. Her dark red/purplish blood dripped onto the concrete, searing it with its heat as she got up and coughed a globule of blood.
'He's absurdly strong.. That fucker could take Vale solo if he wanted to.' Yin thought, eyes surveying the intense damage to the ruins before finding Garmr.
His legs had taken some significant damage but he didn't seem too bothered. He raised one withering leg and severed it with it claws.
Yin's eyes widened as she watched what happened next.
*Crackle*
The leg regenerated from the severed stump. This time however, there was no white armor covering most of it. Garmr then did the same for his other leg and laughed.
"Heh.. did you think I only had brute strength? When you have the kind of siblings I do, you develop an ability or two. That, or ya go insane and die. Like Ifrit. Still though.. you haven't shown me everything yet. So come on.." Garmr took a sprinter's pose, eyes locked in on Yin as she rose up from the debris.
'Yang's high up in the sky.. good.' Yin spread her wings and roared, blasting her magic through her voice and heart and blowing away the debris, the nearby buildings and the very streets she stood on.
Garmr felt the full force of her mana and grinned psychotically as a blue glowing energy rose from her chest to her throat. Her wings flapped and she rose up twenty meters before dropping what seemed to be a tiny blue star from her mouth.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!*
While the ruins below were bathed in scorching flames, Yang was flying into the storm above. Her own flames hadn't been so effective on Carmilla. Even less so since she essentially merged with the stormclouds and hurled building sized lightning bolts at her.
*BZZZZZT!!*
Yang hissed as she raised her right wing to block the bolt. Her scales hissed and cracked from the sheer voltage assailing her. Though she was faring far better now that she was covered in her magic resistant scales. Getting hit a few times as a Dragon wasn't nearly as punishing as it would be even partially transformed.
Yang dove and watched as more bolts flew at her from everywhere within the storm. At first, she thought it to be random. But she noticed a silhouette within the dark clouds every time the lightning flashed.
It was only for a second but she definitely spotted Carmilla. After ten lightning strikes, she had a plan.
'Combining two elements like sis just pulled off is outta my reach at the moment. Otherwise I'd just roast this thirsty sister-lusting bitch with white flames..' Yang thought while using 'Mana Hike' as a platform to quickly turn away from yet another lightning strike.
*CRACKLEEE*
Thunder roared as the clouds lit up with a crimson glow. Like whips, lightning struck out and hit Yang again. The white Dragon nearly froze up from her muscles being forcibly contracted. Before she fell too far, Yang regained control and flew back up with an annoyed yet pained expression.
"Ehehahaha! You had me worried for a moment.. turning into a Dragon. But not even Dragons can fight a storm, can they?" Carmilla mocked from within the clouds, her voice reverberating like thunder.
Yang said nothing, still avoiding the relentless downpour of red lightning coming at her.
'That might be true. If the storm didn't have a truck-sized ego. I know how to beat you now. All I need is..' Yang flew up, going above the clouds and unleashing a giant fan of yellow flames from her throat.
▂▂▃▃▄▄▄▄▅▅▅▅
The glowing flames lit up the storm but despite the searing heat, the storm remained. Carmilla's mocking laughter boomed from within as two more building sized bolts struck Yang from above, making her drop once more, straight into the clouds, where more and more bolts struck her scales, searing and cracking them with every strike.
"You fucking idiot. Did you think lightning only strikes down? What? That you could burn stormclouds away? I'm sorry to say but you're just not hot enough for that~." Carmilla stated, clearly relishing in unleashing pain on Yang as she fell.
Yang groaned, crashing to the ground as the storm loomed above. She appeared severely wounded, unable to even get up as lightning arced above her.
Carmilla's silhouette flashed as she neared, holding a giant bolt of lightning in her hand like a spear, poised to pierce Yang's heart.
"Too bad.. It's time to die. I'll take good care of your sist-" *CRACK!*
As soon as Carmilla got within ten meters of Yang, she felt the world spin. Yang had grabbed her with her wing's claws and grabbed onto her shoulders with both hands before unleashing a concentrated blast of pure light mana through her mouth, straight into Carmilla. Her entire body engulfed in light, all Carmilla could do was scream.
▂▂▃▃▄▄▅▅!
Lightning wracked her body but Yang only held on tighter, blasting the Grimm woman with everything she had until she disintegrated in her claws, leaving only a fist sized black husk.
*Koff*
"I knew.. you'd do some dumb villain speech and gloat... heh.." Yang croaked, her voice hoarse.
She then turned to the other fight, seeing over half the ruins were molten slag. Yet even still, Garmr was alive. Seeing her sister in need of help, Yang flew to her side.
"He's still kickin'?" Yang asked, unaware of the unintentional joke she made.
Yin scowled, rubbing her bloodied maw with her clawed hand. Garmr hadn't been unscathed following her massive attack. Most of his white armor was gone, having been obliterated before he regenerated. Though this time she had felt the source of his regeneration. Something in his chest that reminded her of their Dragon Hearts but to a far lesser degree.
It was just that carving into Garmr to rip that out was proving quite hard. Physically, he outmatched her in almost every way. With speed being the exception. But even that advantage wasn't going to last, with how banged up she was.
*Pomf*
Yin blinked, seeing Yang nudge her arm with that ever-present smirk she had.
"C'mon, sis. We'll take him together." Yang stated, her grin taking on an excited look.
"Yeah.. let's." Yin snorted, focused back on Garmr, who was looking off in Carmilla's direction.
"Hee~ Well that's a shame. Kid had what it took to really be part of the inner circle. Oh well.." Garmr sighed wistfully before extending his hand.
*CRACKLE*
The leftover black husk that used to be Carmilla flew into his hand. Unassuming at first.
Until he crushed it in his hand.
*BZZZZZZZZZT*
Crimson lightning lit up his long white mane, dancing sparks crawling over his body as he grew. Now thirty meters tall, his muscles bulged with magical energy as he faced the twins.
*AOOOOOO!!!*
[AN: Everytime I hear a wolf howl now I think of that Maroon 5 Animals song meme lmao]
