Chapter 5056 - Chapter 4110: MU: Super Body Major Event (153)

"Did you infiltrate the Space Station?" Shiller asked.

The Super Body nodded. Shiller continued, "Didn't Jarvis detect you?"

"He cannot detect me." The Super Body shook its head again, saying, "This isn't even considered an infiltration. I don't need to go through layer upon layer of firewalls; I can make direct modifications."

"Is this the power of Magic?"

"This is the power of life." The Super Body took a sip of coffee and continued, "Any Cosmic Origin Power can directly modify programs with permissions inferior to it."

"But the Space Station has no life."

"Precisely, which is why I can grant it life."

Shiller squinted his eyes. He realized this mysterious lover in Ultron's heart had become somewhat different. Creating intelligent life? Does she really have such powerful strength?

"The person Batman wants us to take from the Space Station, what is he used for?"

"He's not important here, but it's very important that he's not there."

The words were somewhat roundabout, but Shiller immediately understood. He said, "Batman has inserted someone into Earth? How did he do it? Won't the Magical Defense Network block him?"

Shiller was very well aware that the Magic Defense Network of the Central Universe's Earth was very strong, capable of monitoring any beings passing through, no matter how they disguised themselves. This was the reason why they never targeted Earth. If not for this, he'd have to find another job at S.H.I.E.L.D.

As far as he knew, there was no one over on the DC side capable of sneaking in, not even Clayface, known for shapeshifting, could do it; they'd be identified instantly. And once the mages sensed such intentions, they'd definitely monitor the Magic Defense Network more closely, leaving no chance. So, if they're going to strike, they must succeed.

That is to say, Batman must be very confident to send someone to infiltrate the Magical Defense Network. But where does his assurance come from?

"In the cosmos, there are rarely complete lifeless entities." The voice of the Super Body remained ethereal, but unlike before, it wasn't as cold. It was more modulated, sounding clear like a stream, "Especially magical constructs. The Magical Defense Network, mixed with countless Magic Attributes, also harbors unimaginable vitality."

Shiller paused and looked at the Super Body and asked, "Can you transform the Magic Defense Network?"

"That's not transformation." The Super Body gently shook its head and said, "That vitality always existed; I just awakened it."

Shiller always found it difficult to understand such esoteric things, but he could roughly discern that the Super Body had used some means to interfere with the Magical Defense Network's judgment, allowing Batman an opportunity.

If Batman really sent someone into Earth, and there's a high likelihood someone infiltrated the Holy Sanctuary, what does he aim to do?

The Holy Sanctuary is very useful, mainly for intelligence purposes, far superior to Batman on away missions. Sabotaging the Holy Sanctuary to prevent them from concentrating on intelligence gathering might be a good strategy. However, although many working there are ordinary people, there are definitely mages too. It would be difficult for those couple of infiltrators to cause any effective damage.

Moreover, Batman isn't the type to massacre civilians. Many of the Holy Sanctuary's employees haven't participated in the war, so there wouldn't be a revival opportunity, and Batman wouldn't choose to go on a killing spree.

But if he can't disrupt the Holy Sanctuary's work through violent means, then what was Batman's elaborate plan for?

However, Shiller immediately thought, besides physically dismantling intelligence organizations, there's another way, to make the enemy's intelligence untrustworthy.

The major intelligence organizations on Earth often use such methods. They manufacture fake intelligence, deliberately revealing it to their opponents. After causing losses, it becomes difficult for the opponent to trust this line's informants again. If this is what Batman was aiming for, then he probably had traps prepared long ago.

In Cygnus, in a Universe Space not far from the Collector's museum, the area was filled with abnormal chaotic turbulence, almost dotted with space fragments, with uninterrupted anti-matter energy impacts, like a large minefield.

"What's going on?" The Scarlet Witch of the Prime Universe frowned, scanning the scene and said, "This doesn't look like a dimensional rift; more like something someone exploded. Are you sure this is the place?"

Before she spoke, Magneto had already connected the communication. He said to the other side, "We've arrived at the target location you've mentioned, but the situation here is very strange. Are you sure there's no problem with the target?"

After receiving the communication from Magneto, the command center also felt something was strange. After all, Magneto is extremely familiar with the various magnetic fields in the universe, and if he sensed something eerie, it must be extremely bizarre.

So they contacted The Sanctum again. The operator on the other side said, "We did find Batman's equipment there and detected the signal of the Infinity Stones. If the situation there wasn't so bizarre, Batman probably wouldn't be holding back now."

The command center thought, it seems so. If Batman found this place first and had the ability to explore it, how could the Infinity Stones remain for them to take? The strangeness itself made sense. It is precisely because it's too strange that Batman can't get in, giving them a chance to snatch it.

The command center truthfully conveyed this view to Magneto. Magneto couldn't find anything wrong with it. If it weren't for a tough nut to crack, they wouldn't need mutants. The tougher the nut, the more it shows the prowess of mutants. The words have been said; whether they want to or not, they have to go.

Having made up his mind, the voice of Main Universe Magneto echoed in the space, saying, "Split into groups of two to explore, first determine the range of this area, and then invade towards the center..."

Magneto made some arrangements, primarily using the energy they had to spread towards the center, to investigate whether there really was a space rift there, and whether these strange space fragments and chaotic flows were spat out by the rift, and then report back with this information.

Indeed, because this place gave Magneto a very bad feeling, he directly abandoned his original plan to enter the rift for exploration. Better safe than sorry. It's better to be cautious than to make mistakes.

When Magneto personally inspected, he was extremely cautious. He himself did not enter the chaotic flow zone and didn't even get close to it with his magnetic field perception but proceeded along the calmer areas, advancing one step at a time, without venturing deeply into danger.

The others also did not rush in, all slowly inching along the edges. This process was tedious, boring, and long; after two hours, they only explored the periphery. But even so, they patiently moved forward.

For mutants, this was practically like meticulous cultivation. Anyone who dared to be quicker would be scolded harshly by Magneto. It could be said that experience comes with age; although time-consuming, within a dozen hours or so, the central position would inevitably be identified.

Anyway, they were circling around here, and even if Batman's people came, they couldn't beat them, so they could take their time exploring.

Unfortunately, however careful you are, the magical prowess is always a step ahead. No amount of caution could match a surprise attack. The same old adage — never challenge Batman.

Just as the exploration was halfway through, the Scarlet Witch of the Main Universe suddenly felt something was off. It wasn't even something she felt; it was more like a feeling of crisis gradually approaching her mind.

She withdrew her energy back at the fastest speed, but it was already too late.

The Main Universe Scarlet Witch let out a piercing scream, holding her head in agony, her eyes bleeding. The power of Scarlet lost control in an instant, sending a nearby Mastermind flying.

Magneto of the Main Universe sensed something was wrong and instinctively controlled the magnetic field, trying to suppress the Scarlet Witch, but just as his perception neared the magnetic field, countless pieces of maddening knowledge poured into his mind. He spat out a mouthful of blood violently, turned into the magnetic field energy, and yet could not escape the madness.

Magneto's instinctual life-saving reaction before losing consciousness became everyone's disaster.

The magnetic field he turned into became a storm of electric waves filled with maddening knowledge, attacking everyone's brainwaves at the speed of light, cramming countless forbidden knowledge into their brains, driving them all insane.

Mastermind was the first to succumb. His head exploded from the inside out, turning into a white light and returning to the Battleworld. Sebastian, having never seen such a scene, thought it was an invisible attacker, fully unleashed his firepower, and absorbed energy. But this was a path to self-destruction. The next second, the forbidden waves completely polluted his soul, tendrils pouring out from his eye sockets. He fell to the ground in pain, slowly transforming into an undefined creature, and then also turned into a white light.

The remaining Scarlet Witch was petrified by the scene, and they hurriedly ran back. But the mad waves were spreading too fast, with screams erupting one after another.

The Scarlet Witch's survival mechanism was to transform into the power of Scarlet. When their lives were threatened, they instinctively did so. However, this also brought about a deeper disaster. The power of Scarlet completely lost control, shredding everything around into pieces, and even space and time no longer existed.

Magneto and Scarlet Witch were not dead; they were merely overrun by madness, losing consciousness. But because they didn't die, their powers didn't vanish but remained in place, turning it into a violent death field of rampant power, further dooming the others. Mastermind and Sebastian and Cyclops couldn't resist the rampant power of Scarlet and soon turned into white light, completely disappearing into the cosmos.

The command center that received the news of their deaths was stunned. They doubted if they were seeing things. Are you saying someone managed to instantly take down four Scarlet Witches and three Magnetos simultaneously? Are you kidding?!

When this news reached the mutant base, they were even more astounded. They had a deeper understanding of the power levels of Scarlet Witch and Magneto. It's conceivable that they might lose, given the possibility of a tremendously powerful opponent. But that no one escaped, does that make sense?!

The power of Scarlet was innately derived from the Chaotic Power of the cosmos, allowing the Scarlet Witch to fully merge into the world's origin in crucial moments. Unless a Cosmic Abstract Entity manifested personally, achieving such results in an instant seemed impossible. Otherwise, who could deliver such a feat?!

What they didn't know was that at the center of the universe space, now ravaged into a void by the tumultuous forces, there wasn't a being but a book. The pages were slowly turning, revealing the cover embossed in gold letters— "Crawling Chaos" — John Constantine.
