"Mommy, that's not true! I never sleep in, I always wake up early to exercise. I don't know why I didn't wake up today."
"I understand, it really doesn't matter. Raise your arms."
Ansel raised both arms, and Jian Yufei helped him take off his pajamas.
"Mommy, I swear I didn't sleep in on purpose. It's so strange, why couldn't I wake up?" Ansel was still obsessing over the issue.
To him, not waking up on time was a serious matter.
How could a person who couldn't even control their wake-up time accomplish big things?
So, this small mistake felt like a fatal flaw to him.
But Jian Yufei didn't care about it at all; she believed this was perfectly normal.
"It really doesn't matter, Ansel. You're still a child; don't be so hard on yourself. In the future, as long as there's no school, you can sleep in every day."
Jian Yufei said with a smile as she helped him put on his plaid shirt.
Ansel knew that no matter how he explained, she wouldn't understand.
