"What happened? Did you encounter any setbacks?" Noah finally broke the silence.
Wuhan shook off the tension lingering in his body and replied, "Nothing, just met a crazy woman."
Captain Black Sword also nodded frantically behind him while the others appeared a bit embarrassed.
"I will prepare for us to depart; you should all prepare yourselves. Heal up, change, and then help the rest."
Saying this, Noah turned to walk towards the entrance of the cave where they all were standing.
Arriving on the edge, he finally saw it. The towering tree spiraling into the heavens, but now it looks nothing like its old grand visage.
"So you really did it?"
Noah looked over his shoulder and saw the elven queen looking down with sadness and wariness in her eyes. Right before her eyes, the world tree, the one she had worshiped ever since she had gained sentience, was being burned up in flames.
