Basil Jaak approached the corpses, crouched down, sniffed them with his nose, and said blandly, "I've already smelled his scent."
"Whose scent?" Joshua was taken aback and hurriedly asked.
"The scent of the Demon Clan!" Basil Jaak slowly stood up, turned to Joshua, and said, "Have someone guard here, don't let anyone else come in."
"Alright!" Joshua immediately agreed. He wanted to ask something else but saw Basil Jaak suddenly transform into a plume of smoke and vanish before him, clicking his tongue in amazement, "I didn't expect Jaak to become so powerful now."
The young man next to them was frightened by this scene and sat down on the ground, regretting he had troubled Basil Jaak earlier.
Joshua glanced at the pale young man and knew what he was afraid of. Shaking his head, he said, "Don't worry, someone like Jaak wouldn't deign to trouble you. However, I hope you learn from this and put away your arrogance. In the eyes of real experts, we are nothing."
