"Really?" Zhang Zhongkai chuckled lightly, unconcerned.
"Yeah." Zhan Se nodded, then suddenly smiled, adding, "You say, according to your theory, if we find him and study further, might we discover you also share the same physiological traits?"
Zhang Zhongkai smiled faintly, "Well, maybe he's a long-lost brother of mine."
He spoke in a jesting tone. Yet, as he said this, both Zhan Se and Tang Yu paused for a moment, glancing at each other, the word "lost" resonating deeply with them.
After chatting for a bit more, Zhan Se noticed it was almost time for her appointment with Professor Lv and stood up.
"I need to go see my teacher now. Master Zhang, do you want to come along?"
Zhang Zhongkai squinted subconsciously and shook his head, "I'm working right now; I'll visit her later."
His words were without flaw, but Zhan Se hesitated.
