The Deal
After two months, I made a deal with the Devil, promising to return to my throne anytime Hell needed me. I had tried to make a deal to never return, but the price was to sacrifice one thing I loved most: either my son or my boyfriend, Shawn, which was impossible. So, I had to temporarily give up my witch powers for the deal; once I'm back in Hell, I'll have them back.
Sky's House
We were all sitting on the couch, watching TV, with both our sons. Cecily and I were sitting closer, hugging each other. We really missed our warmth. "You know, I thought I'd never see you again," we both said at the same time, then burst out laughing. What a coincidence!
"How have you been?" I asked. She just smiled. "Good, but missed you so much," she said.
"Aww... I also missed you too, but I couldn't come back," I said. She nodded in understanding.
"How's Father?" I asked.
"He's been worse since your disappearance," she said with a sad smile. I felt awful. Even though he wasn't my real father, he never treated me like trash. He loved me so much.
"We have to go see him now," I insisted. The guys offered to come with us, so we agreed, not forgetting our two sons.
At Home
Mr. Nhai was sitting on the swing, staring into space. "Dad," I called. He sharply turned his head, staring at me blankly.
"Alice, dear, is that you?" he asked, standing up and beginning to walk towards me.
"Yes, Dad, it's me... I missed you like Hell," I said, running to hug him. He hugged me so tight, and I rested my head on his shoulder. His tears fell on my back. I pulled away, tears also in my eyes, then I smiled at him, wiping away his tears.
"Don't cry now, please... Let's not show them we're both so emotional," I said, and we both began to laugh.
"Dad, I have a son," I said. His smile widened. I motioned for Vic to come over, and he obediently did so.
"My grandson is so handsome," Dad said.
"Hi, Grandpa," Vic shyly said.
"Is he also..." he lowered his voice, "a vampire?" he asked.
I smiled. "Half-vampire and half-demon," I said. He just nodded, his smile never leaving his face.
"My daughter is all grown up now... I'm happy for you. If that boyfriend of yours doesn't treat you well, tell me, I'll teach him a lesson," he said, and we both giggled. Vic was surprisingly comfortable with Dad, and I was happy about that. He was never comfortable with my real dad or Lucifer, but I made him stay with them so he could learn.
"Shawn, come over here," Dad said. Shawn came, and Dad put Vic down, taking both my hand and Shawn's hand. "A day will come when I'll not be here anymore... As you can see, I'm getting worse by the day... I want you to take care of my daughter... Don't make her cry... Don't break her... If you dare to do any of what I just mentioned, my ghost will surely come to hunt you down," Dad said, his voice serious.
"Dad," I said, my voice cracking. I couldn't get anything out at that moment. I just hugged him.
