Beheading Path stood there, gazing silently at Chu Mo, as if deep in thought. After a long time, he finally smiled at Chu Mo, bowed respectfully, and said, "Thank you, my master!"
Chu Mo looked at Beheading Path with a slightly dazed expression, not understanding why he was reacting this way.
Beheading Path said, "To have created our father—indeed, you are extraordinary. Reflecting deeply, the higher the realm, the more one must have their own Dao. What doesn't belong to oneself truly cannot be one's own."
Chu Mo chuckled somewhat awkwardly, "I'm glad you can resonate with my thoughts."
"This is the proper Dao, of course I must acknowledge it." Beheading Path once again bowed to Chu Mo, then with a flicker of his form, returned to the Celestial Divine Mirror.
To be recognized brought great joy to Chu Mo. Though the sharp pain of having his Great Dao severed still made his heart tremble, he held no regrets. If given another chance, Chu Mo would still make the same choice.
