"Celebanquet, come have dinner." Grace Adams poured minced beef and vegetables into the cat's bowl. Considering its old age and not as strong teeth and digestive system as before, she would mince the food before feeding it.
Benjamin Moreland had become even busier recently, coming home quite late.
Grace Adams held a book, waiting in the living room.
At nine-thirty, the sound of a car finally came from outside.
Grace Adams got up and walked to the foyer. Benjamin Moreland had already opened the door, and the cold wind seized the chance to slip through the crack. Grace Adams wasn't wearing much, and shivered from the chill.
Benjamin Moreland quickly came in and closed the door, "Why aren't you asleep yet?"
"Today is Valentine's Day." Grace Adams smiled a bit sheepishly, "I wanted to have dinner with you."
"You haven't eaten yet?" Benjamin Moreland's gaze showed disapproval, "Didn't I say I would return a bit late? Why are you still waiting for me?"
