Phoebe was also wide awake at this moment. Several hours had passed, and the turmoil in his head had finally eased a bit.
Sitting lazily on the slightly cool hotel terrace at midnight, he raised his right hand and brought the glass filled with red wine to his lips. He tipped the glass all the way only to find no wine reaching his mouth.
It seemed, inadvertently, that he had already emptied the glass.
Raising his gaze to the table, he noticed the wine bottle was also empty. Phoebe arched a subtle eyebrow and set the empty glass back onto the table.
"Sir?" The assistant spoke softly, "Would you like more wine?"
Phoebe shook his head lightly, "Tomorrow morning, inform the business you rejected before that I've decided to accept this endorsement."
A trace of confusion flashed through the assistant's eyes.
Phoebe was referring to a luxury car manufacturer from A Country, whose products were all high-end and extravagant.
