Vera Wave let out a sigh of relief, "By the way, Grandma, you haven't fed the fish yet today, have you?"
"Go eat first!"
Kris Cooper's voice came from the doorway.
Mrs. Li came in, supported Grandma Wave's arm, and helped her to the front yard for dinner.
Vera Wave closed the photo album on the bed and looked at her father's face on the cover, then let out a long sigh.
"Hopefully, Grandma will forget about this tonight, otherwise... I really don't know what to do!"
Even though her mind wasn't as sharp as it used to be, Grandma Wave still thought about her son every day. Vera could only use this method as an excuse, feeling both helpless and a bit heartbroken.
"Kris!" She turned her face, "Do you think... should I tell her?"
Kris Cooper frowned slightly.
"No way!" Vera Wave was already shaking her head, "If she knew the truth, she definitely wouldn't be able to handle it. Last time, it was because of this that she ended up in the hospital. We can only keep deceiving her."
