Kris Cooper was earnestly examining Liliana Davis's statement. In it, she admitted to having visited Wave Tower, seeing Walter Wave, and consoling him a few times before leaving the premises.
"Isn't she a suspect?" Kris Cooper asked.
"According to the information from the autopsy and other sources, Walter Wave committed suicide at approximately 11:25 p.m. She had already left Wave Tower by 11:20 p.m., so she couldn't possibly be a suspect."
Kris Cooper furrowed his brow. "The statement doesn't seem to specify what they discussed when they met."
"At that time, Ms. Davis only said she couldn't recall clearly, just that she'd offered some words of comfort, nothing of substance," Michael Freenan said with a shrug. "That's why it wasn't recorded in the statement."
