A moment later, a car quickly arrived and stopped next to Glades Horne's car. The other driver rolled down their window, and Glades did the same. The other person passed a small square box to Glades, then rolled up their window and drove away.
After rolling up his window, Glades handed the small square box to Julia, his deep voice filled with an intoxicating tone. "This is for you."
Julia took the box, and then he started the car.
