Meanwhile, Baron and his men drove into Clinton's compound. Bodyguards rushed to open the doors as he stepped out, his expression dark and impatient. He moved with authority, scanning the compound as if daring anyone to challenge him.
At the entrance, Clinton's chief guard stopped him. "Sir, we need to inform the Chancellor before you enter."
Baron's voice thundered. "Then do it quickly!" His eyes, red-rimmed with sleeplessness and rage, surveyed the guard menacingly. The thought of his missing grandson had robbed him of rest for weeks.
The messenger nodded and hurried inside. Moments later, the guard stepped aside. "Please, sir, you may enter," he said cautiously.
Baron stepped into the mansion, moving with precision and power. The guards greeted him respectfully, sensing his fury. He made his way directly to the study where Clinton awaited, insisting on entering alone.
