Allen calmed down—forced himself to calm down. It's Albedo we're talking about. The perverted, yandere, obsessive Albedo. The one who sometimes crawled into his bed in the morning claiming she thought he'd had a nightmare. The one who entered the bathroom "to wash his sword." The one with the habit of temporarily stealing the clothes Allen had worn… That last one was too much even for him, and he usually forgave her antics.
So most likely, this was just a joke.
"What's going on?"
"I'm talking about our baby, of course."
"…!"
Allen felt dizzy and had to lean on the table. Past Allen hadn't just tried to kill him—he'd left him with an enormous responsibility. Then he looked at Albedo, who was still smiling as if she'd already anticipated this reaction.
"I'm sorry…"
If he had actually gotten Albedo pregnant, his reaction would've hurt her. So he apologized without excuses and prepared to listen to whatever had happened.
"Can you tell me what happened yesterday?" Allen asked as he walked over and hugged her.
Albedo put on a silly smile, feeling extremely happy, but before she could enter full succubus mode, she held herself back to tell Allen what she knew.
As Allen listened, memories began to return.
Albedo didn't know what had happened before Allen came home, but when he did, he seemed… different. Melancholy. Sad. Regretful.
When someone is under the influence of alcohol, they can enter different states. They can become aggressive, hysterical, overly emotional, a complete mess—letting out their deepest desires, grudges, or regrets. They can also become depressive and repentant.
Last time, Allen had been full of euphoria, lust, hedonism, and madness. But this time, alcohol seemed to have affected him differently.
Seeing her beloved master in this state while reviewing the hotel bills at the old reception desk, Albedo rushed to help. 2B, who was returning from cleaning the basement, ran as well.
"Master!"
"Allen-sama?!"
They both supported him; he seemed tired and unsteady, his gaze blurry and a little lost.
"Albedo, 2B… you always support me without asking for anything in return. I'm a miserable guy for taking for granted that you'll stay by my side no matter what…"
Albedo smiled. "Allen-sama, thanks to you I was freed from being just an NPC. I don't care how long it takes—I'll wait patiently for you to love me~"
"Idiot… I'm a womanizer. Did you think I wouldn't want you after all this time?"
Albedo felt her knees weaken and wanted to scream in joy, but she couldn't let her master fall. So she suppressed the extreme happiness and pleasure, continuing to hold him up.
Even 2B, who rarely smiled, smiled then. "I've waited a long time for you, Master. Just being by your side is enough to keep me happy…"
"I know, 2B… but still, I'd like to give more to you. To all of you…"
Allen, who apparently had been like this multiple times before even getting home, stopped leaning on them, took a step forward, then turned around and knelt. He summoned two small boxes with rings inside, leaving 2B and Albedo in complete shock.
"2B… I know you're happy being my servant, my helper, my sword. Even if you were only a tool for me, you'd still be happy. But… I want to give you a special place—as my wife. In return, I expect everything from you…"
2B, in shock, didn't know what to say. She knew Allen was drunk, but that look of complete sincerity couldn't be fake. Still, her gaze turned distant.
"I'm an android…"
"I know…"
"I was created to serve… to be used until I stop functioning…"
"That, I know too."
"There are many like me where I come from… I'm not unique… I'm not special…"
"No, you're wrong. There's only one 2B who is my 2B—unique and special... I still want you to be my wife…"
At that point, 2B was already covering her mouth while crying. Still, she took the ring, removed her visor, and with a genuine smile from the bottom of her heart, she answered:
"I accept...my master... my everything"
Albedo was still stunned and could only look at the ring in Allen's hand. She didn't understand. She should be happy. She should say yes without hesitation. She should jump into his arms with total joy. But she didn't.
She lowered her head in fear and shame.
"Master… I'm a bad woman…"
Allen stayed silent, letting her continue.
"I'm jealous… possessive… selfish… I'm afraid I'll cause you a lot of trouble…"
"Albedo, I know all that. And I still want you."
Albedo bit her lip before crying in frustration, then raised her head.
"I might never get along with the other women. I might still feel jealous. I might curse, insult, or despise some of your other wives."
"I know all that." Allen smiled. "Don't worry—I'll make you happier than you'll ever be jealous. I can't give you all of my heart, but I'll flood yours with mine…"
Albedo trembled as if she were about to explode in rage, but then looked up at him with heart-shaped eyes.
"Yes, I accept, Allen-sama~"
Even 2B was stunned, wondering if she had faked her hesitation just to hear those words. Allen took both girls to his room, and they stayed locked up for an entire day—though the system distorted time, and only a few minutes passed in the real world.
Allen accepted that it had happened, along with the words he had said. Honestly, it wasn't so different from what he'd say sober.
"Sorry, I forgot for a moment…" Allen kissed Albedo. She smiled tenderly, not blaming him.
At this point, Allen didn't need to hear more—it was impossible he had only done it with 2B and Albedo. The real question was: how many women had he proposed to?!
Allen could already count Erza and Lucy as two… but how many more? Mirajane? Juvia? And among the dolls—who else besides those two? Not only that—knowing himself, Allen must have found a way to do this in other worlds too, because he wouldn't be unfair to his other girlfriends.
Allen had visions of dozens of rings, not knowing if it was real or not, and figured he'd only confirm it once he left this world. Albedo stayed patient, caressing his back while letting him process his actions. Then Allen had another big question—one that involved Albedo.
"Albedo, one more thing… are you pregnant?"
Allen had already accepted Albedo as his future wife, so he wasn't afraid to ask.
Albedo was surprised by the question but immediately put on a sad look. "We tried… many times. But it seems complicated…"
Allen let out a breath of relief. It was already a lot of pressure to know he'd have so many wives, but having kids right away would be too much.
"Still… I came here to keep trying~" Albedo said coquettishly, touching her belly. That's when Allen realized she had just been being her usual perverted self.
….
Allen returned to the dining room to talk to Lucy and Erza, prepared to receive a slap or two, but instead, they laughed.
"Don't be silly. Do you really think we wouldn't notice you were in a pitiful state?" Lucy said with a mocking smile.
"Haha...well" Erza smiled mischievously before she began to explain what she knew.
"..." Allen was left speechless. Apparently, he had proposed to Juvia, Lucy, Erza, and Mirajane, but he had done so without expecting an answer—because he knew he would forget everything—and it didn't seem right to him. So Allen simply gave them the rings, asking them to give him the chance to remember, and when he did, he would propose to them again properly.
Allen didn't know whether to thank his past self or curse him. Wasn't it better to avoid trouble and not give out rings in the first place?
"Well?" Lucy asked with a teasing smirk.
"Are you going to get on one knee?" Erza asked, wearing a mischievous, amused smile.
Allen knew they were just teasing him, but he could also see something deeper in their eyes. He took their hands, each adorned with the ring.
"Lucy, Erza… no matter how or when I gave you these rings, the fact that you're wearing them means it wasn't a joke. So once I'm ready, I'll ask you again—properly. No running away, no alcohol, no hesitation…"
Erza blushed, her eyes shifting nervously. Lucy hid her face in her hands, avoiding eye contact. It was true—both of them knew Allen wasn't in the right state of mind when he proposed, but they had still accepted the ring, with feelings somewhere between fear and anticipation. Maybe, deep down, both had already accepted their feelings for him… despite knowing Allen had also proposed to other women.
Allen pulled them both into his arms, being both shameless and affectionate. Unexpectedly, neither of them pulled away, but instead exchanged a look while in his embrace.
Lucy sighed, even knowing Erza had a ring too…
Erza smiled helplessly, even knowing Lucy got a ring too…
I still love him… both Lucy and Erza thought.
Allen still had to deal with Juvia and Mirajane. Luckily, it went smoothly with them, just like with Lucy and Erza—both understood he had been drunk. Still, Juvia said that no matter how many times he asked her, she would always say yes.
As for Mirajane… well, that was complicated.
For now, Allen could breathe a little easier, though he still didn't know what had happened with Cana. When he returned to the room, she was already gone, leaving behind a note:
"Let's pretend nothing happened."
Allen glanced at the red stain on the bed and sighed. "That's impossible, Cana…"
....
(Days later)
Leaving behind the incidents where Allen had to take responsibility for his actions, he began his first stage as a guild master. Although it was more because of his deal with Lucifer that he decided to do it, now that he was Guild Master, he wasn't going to give it up easily.
With that in mind, Allen began learning about his new responsibilities, including a trip to the Magic Council to take care of the necessary paperwork—and, of course, an audience with them.
To say the atmosphere was tense would be an understatement. They hadn't expected that in just one month, the young man who had walked through the council's doors in shackles would now return as the master of Fairy Tail.
While everyone was expecting a confrontation, Allen walked in as if he were at home, a bag of peanuts in hand, looking like a tourist.
"What's with you guys?!" Allen raised an eyebrow. "I wasn't expecting a welcome party, but how about a welcome at least? This makes the council look like a bunch of grumpy old men."
"What did you say?! You insolent brat!" Michello looked like someone had stepped on his tail.
"Calm down, Michello," said Org before turning a cold gaze on Allen. "You must be excited to be the new master of Fairy Tail, but don't fool yourself, Allen Walker—you are not like us."
Allen made the bag of peanuts disappear and looked at them.
"Of course not. God forbid I become old and cranky all the time." Allen mocked, showing little to no respect for this group of arrogant wizards, except for Yajima, who was a good-hearted man, and perhaps Belno.
Of course, everyone knew this was mostly a show of hierarchy—new guild masters were called in to be reminded who was in charge. That included Saint Wizards like Makarov Dreyar and José Porla, some of the strongest mages on the continent, yet even they maintained respect toward the council. But this young man clearly didn't get the memo.
"Allen Walker, are you aware you're being disrespectful in your very first audience as guild master?" Belno scolded.
"Of course. But don't worry, it's on purpose." Allen smiled as only he knows how to do, without shame, and making others as angry as ever. "Where I come from, if you arrive early on the first day of school or work, people expect you to do it all year. Same logic here…"
The sheer audacity of this young man was astounding—and he was just getting started. Allen grinned with the shamelessness of a fox mixed with the mockery of a professional jester before looking around at everyone.
"First of all, I apologize. I'm selfish, so I'll do things you won't like. I have issues with authority, so I probably won't listen to you much. I'm a bit lazy, so you'll have to drag me in if you call me. That said, I'll make Fairy Tail a great guild—by crushing every dark guild, every scheming mage, every out-of-control monster, every world-conquering villain, and every fraudulent insurance salesman we run into…" Allen's smile widened as his eyes narrowed. "So, I'll be counting on you."
The entire council was left speechless. Was this really the same young man from last time?! It made no sense—where was the gloomy, indifferent guy who looked like nothing mattered to him? Honestly, they'd prefer to deal with that Allen instead of this shameless one who had basically spat in their faces and told them to go fuck themselves.
Allen left the chamber accompanied by Yajima.
He noticed that both Michello and Org hadn't liked him from the start. Still, despite his earlier declaration, Yajima welcomed him, and Belno and Leiji remained neutral.
The council had no say in who became the master of each guild, and as long as he followed the laws and responsibilities of running a guild, they were fine with it—though they made it clear they expected better control over his members than Makarov had shown.
Before leaving, Yajima told him that if there were any problems, he would intercede on his behalf as he had been doing until now.
"Don't worry, I know Mavo dumped the problems on you. Besides, it must be hard to control so many rowdy kids," Yajima said, trying not to think too much about Allen's earlier statements.
Allen stopped for a moment to observe the small, long-mustached old man. "I'm surprised you're not questioning why he chose me, being so young and new to Fairy Tail."
Yajima almost added that all of that was secondary compared to his personality, but instead, he chuckled. "I was the one advising Makarov to retire because of his age. Still, I know he values Fairy Tail as much as—or more than—his own life. He wouldn't hand it over easily. You know, he even refused to give the guild to his own blood…"
"I guess that's true." Allen shrugged, making Yajima widen his eyes.
"I'm surprised… You don't seem pressured by your new responsibility. No spark of ambition. It's as if being master of the strongest guild isn't anything special."
"No, no, of course I'm excited to go through piles of complaints from the council… and to come here to explain why Natsu destroyed a cathedral, or why Gray froze a river, or why Erza demolished a guild." Allen shrugged again before smiling in a way that sent chills down Yajima's spine. "But there are also good things—like making each of them pay me back twice for every bit of suffering they cause me…"
"I see…"
A bead of sweat rolled down Yajima's cheek. At this point, he didn't know whether Allen was good or bad—but he did understand one thing: Allen was the kind of man you really didn't want to provoke.
