Chapter 647 - 647 Fairy Tail: The Guild is in Mourning, The Shameless New Master, Two New Members for Fairy Tail, Fantasia and WHAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY!

The world was left in shock, both inside and outside of it.

Laxus was expelled… this felt fair to some, unacceptable to others.

Makarov resigned… this was devastating for many, incomprehensible to others, but in the end, everyone agreed that no one in the guild truly wanted this to happen.

As if the previous two announcements weren't scandalous enough, the third one left everyone speechless and holding their breath.

Allen would be the next Guild Master!

"Master, don't rush this…" Macao said, his voice trembling, still unable to believe it.

"That's right, setting aside the next Master for a moment, you can't just retire, we need you!" Wakaba gasped.

"Don't do it, Gramps!" Natsu, frightened, approached Makarov.

Makarov looked at him fondly, like a grandfather would, and gave that same look to everyone else.

"Brats, how old do you think I am? Originally, a guild master should be chosen much earlier, but thanks to all of your irresponsibility, I never even considered it—who the hell could control you lot?!" Makarov chuckled nostalgically. "Fairy Tail isn't just any guild—it's one of the pillars of the magical world. That makes us the focus of attention for dark guilds, for the Balam Alliance, for the Magic Council, the Kingdom of Fiore, other countries, and even other continents…"

The guild fell silent. Normally, everyone only worried about completing missions and drinking afterwards, never thinking about the real impact Fairy Tail had on the world. This sort of thing was something only the guild master was aware of.

"Being the master of a guild like Fairy Tail isn't just about power."

Laxus lowered his gaze slightly.

"It's responsibility! It's hope! That's why I never gave the position to Ivan—he only ever looked out for his own interests!"

"Gramps…" Natsu began to cry. And he wasn't the only one—many in the guild started crying too, including Mira and Lucy.

"Don't cry. I'm not going to die, and I'm not going to disappear. I'll simply be passing on that responsibility…" Makarov also began to cry, surrounded by all his sons and daughters.

Even someone like Juvia couldn't help but wipe away a small tear. However, two people didn't share that feeling.

"It's hard to say no!" Allen said only to his spectators, which instantly caused laughter and teasing to break out.

Yoruichi – He's screwed! Haha

McDragon – So what are you gonna do now? haha~

Gwen – If it were me, I wouldn't be able to say no in that situation hahaha

MJ – That old man got you good~

Amanda – Haha, what a bastard… makes it all more dramatic, so you can't possibly refuse.

Hippolyta – If it wasn't intentional, then it's normal—out of the whole guild, you might be the only one who could fill that role properly. But if it was intentional… that old fox has more tricks than he lets on.

"You don't have to remind me… Makarov, you won't get away with this…"

Despite his words, Allen watched the touching scene of the Fairy Tail mages saddened by Makarov's departure.

The second person was Wednesday, who was still silently watching. Allen turned to look at her, and though her eyes were as expressionless as a corpse's, he could still sense the mockery in them.

"I know it'll be hard to adapt, and I know Allen hasn't been with us for long, but he's still trustworthy, and no one can deny that…" Makarov said with a smile.

"Well, he's strong enough to replace the Master," Reddus said, scratching his nose, still looking sad.

"She can be terrifying when she's mad, but we're used to Erza," Max said with a shrug.

"Honestly, he's the best choice—he can keep Natsu and Gray under control," Levy declared before blushing, "And he always shows up to help us…"

"What did you say, Levy?!" Natsu complained.

Cana crossed her arms. "He might be a womanizer, but I don't think he's irresponsible. Besides, he's very reliable…"

"Calling Allen 'Master' doesn't bother me," Laki said shyly.

"Tsk, I owe him for Deliora, so I'm not gonna object," Gray muttered, scratching his head, not realizing he was again in his underwear.

"He's a man I entrusted my life to, and he didn't disappoint me…" Erza declared with absolute confidence. But then she remembered something and looked slightly annoyed, "Though I think he should be controlled when it comes to girls…"

"He's a man among men!" Elfman shouted. "And… he helped my big sister."

"In terms of management skills and dealing with the Magic Council, I don't think he'd have any problems," Mira blushed, "And I wouldn't mind spending more time with him…"

"Hey, your hidden intentions are showing," Lucy said jealously but then she smiled, "Since I arrived, he's helped me, and I don't think there's anyone more trustworthy. Plus, he's already risked his life for us several times…"

"I owe him my life…" Loke said with a laugh, "Though he scares me…"

Makarov nodded. At that moment, Laxus said nothing and stayed on the sidelines with the three Raijinshuu. He didn't need to hear more—this was the reason he wasn't fit to be guild master in the first place. He had never bothered to earn the guild's trust. He hadn't helped them when they were in trouble, nor had he even tried to understand them.

As for Freed, Bickslow, and Evergreen, they understood that while they had been away, someone else had arrived and claimed a huge place within the guild. But instead of being upset, they smiled. From the beginning, they had never stood a chance.

'Hey, don't move the conversation forward without me! What the hell! When did I agree to this?!'

Allen couldn't believe the audacity of these people. Did he want to take on this role? Did anyone even ask him? Because it felt like the decision was already made.

'Haha…' Allen admitted it had been a solid move. Even a troll king like him—who had fooled countless people to the point of being hated—had to acknowledge it. Even Laxus had just experienced firsthand how to screw someone over so badly that it nearly drove them insane. This master, this son of a bitch, had pulled off a brilliant play. HOWEVER! Allen Walker was a shameless man when the situation demanded it.

Old man, don't think that just because you made things awkward, you've got me cornered. Allen smiled—most people would feel uncomfortable here, but with a face harder than adamantium, he stepped forward.

"A—"

Lucifer – Allen, how about we make a deal? I'm willing to remove half of my loose power from this world—it'll save you a lot of work and trouble… in exchange, accept being the guild master.

Allen switched back to Incognito Mode. "Huh?! No kidding! How does that benefit you?!"

Lucifer – Have you forgotten? This all started because I was looking for a way to ease my boredom. Sure, having my Bar is fun, and what I've experienced in the human world is entertaining… but it doesn't hurt to have more things to do. You'd be surprised how boring life gets when you can practically do everything… so I want to see how the world changes if you become the guild master.

"What a selfish bastard… Ugh, but half? And what will happen to all that power?"

Lucifer – Of course, I'll give it to you. Though you won't be able to use it in the gambling worlds…

"…"

>[Host, you know what a single particle is capable of. We don't know how many there are—maybe it's worth accepting… just think about it.]

....

The Chat and the dolls agreed as well—if there were a thousand particles of Lucifer's power in the world, removing five hundred in one go would be a huge help.

Allen didn't want to be the Guild Master. He wanted to keep doing missions and spending his days with minimal responsibilities.

>[No one says you have to do it. Remember—the boss is the one who gives the orders…]

Allen smiled. "Of course, I'd love to be the Guild Master."

"Huh?" Makarov stopped crying and looked at Allen in disbelief—he had been expecting a refusal.

And not just him—Erza, Lucy, Juvia, and Mirajane, who had spent more time with him, knew he wasn't interested in being guild master. It wasn't a matter of capability—Allen had already been in charge of many people and had held positions requiring administration—but he simply didn't want it.

"Are you serious?!" Makarov gasped.

Allen smiled—but it was that smile, the one everyone in the Chat knew: the smile of a deceitful troll.

"Of course I want to." Allen walked through the crowd toward the stage, grabbing a microphone off the floor as he went. Once up there, he looked at the whole guild with a pained expression.

"You all know how much we've suffered!" Allen clutched his chest dramatically. "I still remember like it was yesterday when the Master left us!"

What are you talking about?! That happened today! Everyone thought.

"And it still weighs heavily on my heart how we were attacked by our own blood! The day that traitor struck us was devastating!" Allen gritted his teeth.

That also happened today! They all screamed in their minds.

"But I know we'll move forward! I trust all of you. However, we can't do it alone, which is why I traveled across the continent seeking help. I endured hunger, cold, abstinence, lonely nights without anyone to hold!"

What is this guy even talking about?! Once again, the guild had the same reaction, wondering who this guy was and what he'd done with the real Allen.

"Allen-sama!" Juvia began to cry, leaving everyone speechless—though, to be fair, if they didn't know everything was faker than crap, they might've believed it. That was how good Allen's acting was.

"I want to welcome our two new members." Allen calmed himself and smiled confidently. Then he stepped off the stage and walked toward Laxus. "This strong and powerful guy here is Laxus. I found him out there and brought him back. I think he's got the potential to be an S-Class wizard. Everyone, get along with him."

"You…" Laxus' eyes and mouth opened wide. He'd seen shameless people before, but this was on a whole other level.

The guild members exchanged glances before bursting out laughing.

"Nice to meet you," Natsu said, slapping Laxus on the back. "I'm Natsu. You look strong—how about we fight?"

After Natsu, one by one, they all welcomed Laxus as if it were the first time they had met him.

Makarov, who knew what was coming, tried to slip away, but when he turned around, Allen's cold stare was waiting.

"Old man, you're not thinking you can just dump your problems on me and walk away, right?" Allen whispered, gripping his shoulders.

"Stop—"

Allen smiled like the Grinch and addressed the guild again. "And last but not least, while traveling through the Ishgar plains, I met an old hermit of great power. This solitary old man loves administrative work and says he'll handle the paperwork when I'm not here. I hope you treat this old man, whom we've never seen before, very well!"

"That's… Ugh." Makarov tried to reply, but Allen squeezed his shoulders hard and sent him a telepathic message.

—Hermit, I still have lots of potions, but I've got work finding volunteers. Could you help me?—

Makarov went pale, then forced a smile. "It's an honor to be part of this great guild~"

Moments later, several people ran to hug him in welcome. Even Mirajane suggested a welcome party despite it being the harvest festival. Everyone agreed to have it after "Fantasia."

---

Jalter – Wait, I don't get it…

Kurumi – What a surprise~

Jalter – What did you say?!

Artoria – It's simple. Since both Laxus Dreyar and Makarov Dreyar were no longer part of the guild, Allen forced a situation where they were welcomed as brand-new members.

Rebecca – Allen pulled the "If I'm screwed, you're all screwed too!" card! Hahaha.

....

And so, both Makarov and Laxus officially rejoined the guild. Laxus lost his S-Class title and became a rookie again, while Makarov kept doing the tedious paperwork and had to respectfully call Allen "Master."

Allen, for his part, will continue to go on missions but will leave behind his chibi avatar so that he can always be contacted in case of need. When looking at this situation, people should ask themselves why the fuck they made such a fuss if it was all going to end up the same!

Time passed until nightfall, when Fantasia began.

This event was the crown jewel, the cherry on top. It was a parade where the wizards of Fairy Tail used their magic not for fighting, but to amaze the audience—a way to connect with people and show kids that magic wasn't a weapon, but a miracle, and that it was up to each person how to use it.

By the Guild Master's orders, Laxus and Makarov had to participate. Laxus felt awkward being on the same float as his grandfather, but when the old man started enlarging parts of his body to make the kids laugh, Laxus joined in by firing harmless lightning into the sky, making several kids squeal with excitement.

Several guild members who saw this smiled, including Makarov, whose eyes grew misty.

Allen, of course, also participated—he had to, as the new Master, to show what he was made of. So he stood in the middle of a float doing absolutely nothing while Lucy, Mira, Erza, and Juvia used their magic beside him.

Getting them to share the same float wasn't easy, since they nearly fought over who would go with Allen, but in the end, they all went together. Juvia used her water magic to turn into water herself. Lucy summoned several spirits to show what Celestial magic was like. Mira sprouted the ears and tails of various animals. Erza swapped between multiple armors.

This float was the most watched, but also the most mysterious—Allen hadn't done anything… until halfway through the route.

Several kids stared at him, confused and expectant. When Allen felt he'd built enough anticipation, he smiled and raised his hand to the sky.

"Composite Magic – Imperius Nova!"

A small white sphere rose into the sky before detonating into a star so bright it turned night into day. The crowd was stunned—this could have easily erased a city from the map. But the little ones' eyes sparkled because the blast cleared the clouds and revealed an incredibly clear, star-filled sky.

---

Diana – Only Allen would dare use a nuclear explosion for a show…

Kate – No no, there's no contamination, so it doesn't count~

Emma Frost – It's beautiful… perfect for a romantic night… Ah, that's right!!

Not just Emma—everyone else realized that with everything that had happened, the dates Allen had promised never happened. The girls were definitely going to be upset, especially since they'd gone out of their way to dress up for the occasion.

Fantasia was a success, and everyone returned to the guild to keep celebrating. Allen eventually accepted Lucifer's deal, officially becoming the Guild Master, and decided to party a bit…

Which meant that, in the heat of the moment, he downed a tankard of alcohol…

... .... ...

(The next day?)

Allen opened his eyes with difficulty. His head throbbed. The world seemed to spin—a curse of mortality he'd have to get used to while in this world.

"Hm~"

Allen froze when he heard a feminine moan. Slowly turning his head, he saw a girl covered by a bedsheet lying next to him. He knew she wasn't one of his dolls—he could sense their presence without seeing them.

I knew I shouldn't have drunk! Damn it! Allen cursed his weakness. Then the question hit him—who was she?

Lucy, Erza, and Juvia were possibilities since they lived with him. Could also be Mira… or maybe someone else entirely.

Allen took a deep breath to calm himself. He knew from Rebecca what his drunk self could be like, and could only pray he hadn't been too rough with whoever it was.

He stretched his hand out like a child hesitant to open a Christmas gift, afraid it wouldn't be what he wanted.

"...!" When he saw the "princess's" face, Allen could only exclaim, "What happened yesterday?!"

A/N: This had happened before and ended up with two Emma and Megan in bed, a car in space, a fight with a talking bear and Jack Black and Snoop Dogg lost somewhere in Africa xd

PS: But the only real mystery is who is the girl in the bed? 👀
