Chapter 645 - 645 Fairy Tail: The Death of Laxus, An Unimaginable Torture, The Tears of the Raijinshuu and Today a Legend is Born.

Laxus was fast…

Being able to cloak himself in lightning, being able to become lightning, he was fast—but strangely, he had always felt slow when facing Allen.

The metal blade was about to slice his neck. Instinctively, Laxus tried to use his magic to move and dodge—but he realized he couldn't. As if fate itself was playing a joke on him, a rune barrier enveloped him—a barrier eerily similar to the ones his right-hand man, Freed Justine, used so often.

"What—?"

— Lightning Magic is prohibited in this area. —

That's what Laxus could read in the magical letters in front of him. He understood rune magic to some extent—after all, Freed had explained how it worked to him plenty of times when they camped together during Requests.

Despite that knowledge and the clear rule before him, Laxus couldn't understand when Allen had set up this trap.

Rune barriers don't just pop up out of nowhere—they're complex structures that require time to set up, and they follow rules that can't be bypassed unless deactivated properly. They're useless in a spontaneous fight.

Laxus didn't believe Allen had placed this here beforehand…

So in just this short time since the fight started, had Allen created a barrier specifically to suppress him?

"That's not fair…" Laxus thought. "You're so damn strong, and yet you still use this kind of method. How the hell is anyone supposed to fight you?"

In the middle of all his rage, frustration, disgust, repulsion, and jealousy… There was also admiration. How could there not be? He knew very well how hard it was to be strong in this world.

"You're a monster…" he smiled.

"..." Allen received Lexus' proud smile without saying a word.

The great sword cleanly cut through Laxus's neck.

The guild was in shock—especially Makarov, whose mind was filled with memories of a younger Laxus.

— "Grandpa! I completed my first mission!" —

Makarov closed his eyes as a tear fell. "Forgive me, Laxus. I wasn't able to guide you well enough…"

" Allen…" Erza was saddened until tears came to her eyes—not for Laxus, but because Allen had been forced to kill him in front of everyone. What would happen now? How would Makarov react? Even if he didn't blame Allen, how would the others see him? Maybe Laxus was a bastard who had crossed a line that shouldn't be crossed, but he was still a Fairy Tail wizard who had been in the guild for over a decade.

Lucy clutched her chest as her face filled with frustration and sadness. Juvia worried for Allen. Mirajane also cried—she knew Allen had started becoming freer from his past, happier… but now he was once again forced to stain his hands red. It wasn't fair.

Gray and Natsu—who had just regained consciousness—were both filled with frustration. If they had been strong enough long ago, they would have kicked Laxus's ass themselves before things got this far.

Would this have happened if they hadn't all been trapped? Would it still have ended in tragedy if they were stronger?

"Laxus…"

The three Raijinshuu watched helplessly as their leader fell. Deep down, none of them truly wanted to rebel, but their loyalty to Laxus outweighed their sense of belonging to Fairy Tail. After all, the Raijinshuu had never really made an effort to build "bonds" with the rest of the guild.

It was all a tragedy… wasn't it?

Rick – "What a son of a bitch! Hahaha!"

Wade – "I knew it! This bastard couldn't be a good person—he's a filthy troll! Hahaha!"

Amanda – "For a second there I actually believed all that Mother Teresa crap! Hahaha!"

Rebecca – "I seriously can't believe he can do that! My man is the embodiment of shamelessness! Hahaha!"

Harley – "That's my Daddy! Hahaha!"

>>>

To everyone's surprise, Allen's look of deep regret shifted into a full-on troll smile.

Laxus, lying on the ground, began to growl. Then he opened his bloodshot eyes. Slowly, his body began to change.

"Walker, what did you do to me?!"

Allen's eyes smiled as he shrugged. "Honestly? I have no idea~"

"…What?"

Allen grinned as he lifted his greatsword and displayed it. Laxus felt like his body was swelling—but Allen took his sweet time, letting everyone watch in shock.

"Well, remember those potions I made by accident? I got curious about what the other failed potions might do… but since I couldn't find any volunteers, I decided to test them on my enemies… those poor souls."

"What the hell did you just say?!"

Laxus began puffing up like a meatball. His clothes stretched but didn't tear—which meant the tailor who made them deserved a bonus. While this was happening, Allen continued explaining, ignoring Laxus's curses.

"Plus, my Clown Crown can cut whatever I choose, so I thought… what if I coat the blade with the potion, then use it to cut my enemies—not to harm them, but to apply the potion's effect?"

At that moment, everyone felt chills. What kind of evil plan was that? How could he so casually talk about experimenting with strange potions on people? Wasn't he supposed to be good now? Wasn't he supposed to be a better man? Because this sounded way more malicious than just killing someone.

"Allen Walker!!"

Laxus's voice grew more and more muffled, and soon his body had become a giant meatball.

"Oh, Luffy would be proud~" Allen landed next to Laxus and poked him with a finger, admiring his masterpiece. Then he crossed his arms with pride. "I used to think I had no talent for alchemy, but I just realized I'm a fucking genius at this shit~"

"I'm going to kill you!"

Laxus's cheeks were puffed and his lips so swollen he could barely speak. At this point, his Lightning Dragon Slayer magic was useless—his body simply couldn't use it—so all he could do was release his magic power threateningly.

"Oh, so scary," Allen mocked. "What are you gonna do—roll over me?"

Several people couldn't hold back their laughter—including Makarov, who had been crying just moments ago.

"Walker, you son of a bitch! I'll rip your head off!" Laxus gasped for air—even talking was exhausting in this state.

Allen blinked at him, then smiled like the bastard he was. "Rip my head off? You don't even have arms anymore—I think your body swallowed them when you turned into a giant ball."

"Aaahhh!"

"Don't worry, it's fine. You used to say there was no place for you in this guild—but look at you now, you're taking up a lot of space here." Allen nodded kindly.

Laxus's eyes nearly popped from rage, while the rest of the guild burst out laughing even harder.

"Don't worry, Laxus. Now that we've settled our differences, we can start building a cooperative relationship. We could use you as a meat shield in battles… maybe even fire you like an electric cannonball. I don't know about you guys, but I'd be scared seeing this thing rolling toward me~"

What a son of a bitch.

"Walker! WALKER!!"

"Come on, Laxus, stop this rebellion—you didn't need to go this far if you wanted to be part of the guild. You could've just said so… I guess we could use you as a door or something."

"Allen, we can't do that." Erza could barely hold back her laughter.

Mira wiped her tears as she tried to stop laughing. "It's true, Laxus did terrible things… but shouldn't we just let it go?"

"Let it go? He doesn't even fit anywhere anymore." Allen crossed his arms, then nodded. "So what should we do—roll him to the prison? I'm not carrying him—my doctor told me not to lift bulky objects."

Laughter exploded again, while Laxus's face turned red. At this point, one emotion had surpassed his anger: embarrassment.

Laxus was strong, he was proud, he was a very skilled wizard, though he had secrets. He was secretly a Second Generation Dragon Slayer, but unlike Gajeel and Natsu, he hadn't learned Dragon Slayer magic from an actual dragon. Instead, a Dragon Lacrima had been implanted into his body on his father's orders. Ivan Dreyar had done this because Laxus was born with a weak body—but thanks to that Lacrima, he became a powerful mage.

This leads to the reason that Laxus will start a rebellion.

Unfortunately, Ivan was an ambitious man obsessed with a Fairy Tail secret passed only from one Guild Master to the next, known as "Lumen Histoire." Makarov knew his son didn't have good intentions, but just like with Laxus, he forgave him many times. It was only when Ivan endangered Fairy Tail itself that Makarov expelled him.

Laxus had been too young to understand his father wasn't a good person. So he resented Makarov, feeling the old man had put the guild above his own family. That resentment grew into hatred toward Makarov, Fairy Tail, and its ideals.

Just as Makarov was lost in his thoughts, the barrier keeping him trapped vanished.

"…!?"

Makarov looked down to see Freed kneeling with his head on the ground. At his side, Evergreen and Bickslow were also kneeling. Freed's body trembled; all trace of rebellious spirit was gone.

"Freed, Bickslow, Evergreen…"

"Master Makarov, I'm sorry… we're all so sorry. I know no matter how much we apologize, it won't be enough…"

"…"

Makarov's gaze was serious—showing no forgiveness, but also lacking the overflowing rage from before.

"But master, please," Freed Justine looked up with tears in his eyes and pointed in Allen's direction, "Please save Laxus from that monster!"

Makarov fell to the ground at such a plea. Evergreen and Bickslow also bowed, begging for the same thing. Snapping out of his distraction, Makarov turned his eyes back to Allen, who was still mocking Laxus.

'Of all the things Allen could have done to Laxus, I think he's been merciful,' Makarov thought—until he widened his eyes at the sight of Allen pulling an apple out of nowhere.

"Mmm."

Allen held the apple as Newton did in discovering gravity.

"What are you gonna do?!" Laxus, at this point, no longer felt rage—only fear—realizing he had fallen into the devil's hands and that anger wouldn't set him free.

"Allen, what are you doing?" Erza had a look of pity; even her anger had subsided after seeing Laxus being humiliated (tortured).

By now, everyone else had been freed and gathered around. Some were still angry at Laxus, others were mocking him, and a few even felt pity.

"I wonder if…"

Allen tossed the apple, and it began to orbit around Laxus.

>>>

Rick – Oh hell no! Hahaha, he's got gravity!

Gwen – He's so fat he has his own orbit! Haha!

Barbara – This makes zero scientific sense! Haha!

Thor – By Odin's beard! Hahaha!

Hulk – Hulk feel amused, fat boy is funny!

>>>

"What the hell!" Laxus exclaimed in disbelief.

As if it wasn't humiliating enough already, Allen didn't stop. With every taunt, Laxus went from rage to regret, and then to despair. He realized his mistake—Allen was the embodiment of absolute evil. There couldn't be anyone more dangerous in the world. He'd rather have died from that neck cut.

"Allen, stop it already or Laxus will lose his mind…" Makarov said, approaching with a defeated look.

Allen crossed his arms, staring at the lump of flesh resembling Cell about to self-destruct.

"Even so, this guy deserves some punishment… anyone got ideas?"

Laxus felt chills as the entire guild looked at him with malice.

"We could use him as heating in the winter!" Gray said while taking off his shirt, earning a scolding from Warren.

"We could dam the river with him—that'll help the crops~" Mirajane said, surprising everyone, even Laxus, who thought kind Mirajane would never say such a thing.

"We could rent him to a school so kids can climb him~" Cana laughed.

Natsu thought it was a great idea and started climbing Laxus. Once at the top, he saw Laxus's bloated face and bloodshot eyes.

"Natsu, you son of—"

Natsu stepped on his face, cutting off the insult, then raised his hands in triumph.

"Laxus! I told you one day I'd surpass you, and now I'm above you! Muahahaha!"

Many laughed, but others thought intelligence was chasing Natsu—only for him to outrun it. Laxus felt sick; it was already humiliating, but to be mocked by someone as stupid as Natsu was the last straw.

"Allen, can you heal him? At this size, we can't even move him, let alone teach him a lesson…" Makarov said, looking like he no longer cared about life.

Allen thought for a moment. He had already removed the particle from Laxus, and Makima, Esdeath, Albedo, and 2B had split up through the city to recover the thunder lacrimas—so there was no longer any danger.

"I'd like to, but I don't have any antidotes… since this is something experimental…"

Laxus turned pale—the idea of living like this forever made him wish for death.

"But I have an idea!" Allen nodded with the confidence and eyes of a mad scientist, not a mad alchemist.

Before anyone could stop him, Allen summoned his greatsword once more and slashed Laxus.

"They say the best cure for a dangerous brew is another dangerous brew!"

Everyone's faces went white—because nobody says that!

Laxus's face turned blue, his breathing strained. He thought nothing could be worse than this… but he was about to learn he had underestimated the mad alchemist before him.

Laxus's body began to shrink. Slowly, he returned to his normal size—even regaining his muscles. But his clothes now hung loose. Smiling, he felt his anger returning. He would make Allen regret everything he had done.

Laxus roared like a dragon, preparing to fight. However, there was a problem: the process did not stop even when Laxus reached his normal form... he continued to lose weight.

"This time… I'll kill you, Walker…"

His voice was dry and weak—like an old man's. He noticed it but froze when he saw everyone's horrified faces… and Allen's "I'm a genius" smile.

"Congratulations, Laxus, you're skinny now…" Allen clapped, but no one joined in.

Laxus looked around in confusion. Out of pity, Laki pulled out a mirror—Laxus stared at his reflection. He was no longer fat… but so thin he looked like someone suffering from extreme malnutrition—just skin and bones.

"Don't worry, now you can work as a zombie in 70s movies… or maybe become a badass wrestler named Chicken Bones!... "

Some laughed again, but most were still in shock at Laxus's current state.

"You… I won't forgive you!" Laxus growled, clenching his bony fist and charging at Allen. Allen had to admit—Laxus's tenacity was admirable.

The deadly punch of the Lightning Dragon Slayer advanced toward its target.

Slowly…

Very slowly…

Allen, several steps away, checked his watch—at this rate, Laxus would reach him in three business days. So, Allen stepped forward so the malnourished dragon's punch could land with all the force calcium deficiency could muster.

*Crunch*

The inevitable happened—Laxus's punch landed, and the sound of breaking bones echoed. Everyone stared in disbelief as Laxus's wrist bent at an unnatural angle.

"TAKE THAT WALKER! HAHAHAHA"

Laxus, unfortunately, "Huesos de Pollo" didn't notice and laughed like a maniac as he had hurt Allen.

It was obvious this was going to happen…
