Chapter 195 - Waking in the Light of Primara (194)

Atlas let out an eager chuff, pushing himself off the ground in one fluid motion. He stretched his limbs, arching his back and spreading his massive wings, which glinted in the soft morning light. Starfania watched in admiration, her heart swelling with pride. She loved seeing him so free and alive.

"Look at you, all ready for an adventure," she teased, taking a step back to admire the sight. His scales caught the golden rays of sunlight, shimmering like jewels against the vibrant greens of the forest surrounding them. With a gentle nudge from her foot, Atlas moved closer, and she reached out to pat his snout. Starfania embarked on a breathtaking journey with Atlas, soaring from the comfort of their home to reunite with Aeron and Violet.

As they glided through the ethereal clouds, a profound sense of freedom washed over them. The wind rushed past, cool and exhilarating, and Starfania couldn't help but smile, savoring the bond she shared with Atlas–the moment Cantina gave her Atlas it was as if she found a missing part of herself. They flew higher still, cutting through the dawn breeze, until–BANG! A sharp, thunderous sound cracked through the stillness of the sky. Both Starfania and Atlas snapped their attention, scanning the horizon. In the distance, something glinted and shifted with powerful motion. Curiosity stirred within them, and without hesitation, Starfania leaned forward and motioned for Atlas to veer in that direction. He obeyed with swift precision, shifting his wings and diving toward the commotion.

As they closed in, her heart skipped at the sight–there they were. Aeron and Violet, just below, their faces upturned as they stood with Lyam, eyes fixed on the scene ahead. But they weren't the only ones who captured their attention. In an open arena beneath them, Lutu and Drogo were locked in a fierce contest. The two dragons clashed midair with an elegance and ferocity that was both terrifying and breathtaking. Their scales shimmered like armor in the morning light, wings slicing the air as they weaved and spun in a dance of dominance and raw power. Atlas hovered above for a moment longer, wings outstretched, and then began his descent. They touched down with a gentle thud. Starfania slid off his back and turned, her eyes immediately drawn to the stands. Her excitement overflowed as she hurried toward the group, cupping her hands around her mouth and calling out with a grin, " Hey! "

Startled by their sudden arrival, the group turned their eyes skyward, astonishment etched across their faces. Violet was the first to react–her face lit up with joy as she dashed toward Starfania, wrapping her in a warm, heartfelt embrace. Aeron followed with a bright smile.

" It's wonderful to see you thriving, " he said, his voice filled with sincere relief. Violet nodded eagerly, still clinging to Starfania's arm. " Absolutely. "

Just then, Lyam stepped forward, his deep voice cutting through the moment. " Indeed. Good to have you back, Dragon Savior. "

Starfania smiled warmly at them, a spark of happiness igniting in her chest. She had missed her friends more than she realized.

"I've missed all of you too," she replied, her voice steady yet filled with emotion. Gentle warmth spread through her as she took in their familiar faces. A soft breeze danced around them, rustling the leaves in the trees nearby. Lyam gestured for Starfania to sit with them, and she gratefully obliged.
