It was even highly likely that it wasn't just The Wandering God alone. Rather, the entire elven pantheon of Afando, due to The Wandering God's previous world-shaking wrath, was watching David. They probably wouldn't personally intervene over minor, temporary disputes in the Prime Material Plane, which would risk breaking the unspoken rules among gods and potentially starting a divine war.
But what if, right under their watch, a new and incredibly threatening deity was being born?
Could they allow another being to emerge in the pantheon of the Dragon Gods, one that could rival Pafila, or perhaps even surpass her?
The answer was about to be revealed.
