Stoick rushes to the dragon stables, shouting, " Ground all dragons! Seal the gates! Lower the storm doors! No dragon or viking sets foot of the island unless I or Fenrisulfir gives the word!"
He then turns to me in a serious voice and says, "Fen, make sur your brother doesn't do anything idiotic. If he leaves like I thing he will, then I need you to have his back incase something happens to him."
Nodding my head, I turn around to see hiccup and toothless rush out of the stables with darkwing, astrid, and helga not too far behind.
Seeing him, Stoic yells, "Hiccup! Fen, go after him!"
Grabbing onto astrids hand as she and darkwing fly by, we slip through the storm doors right as it was closing. After we had gotten a good bit away from berk, I fly up next to hiccup.
I yell, "Dad's gonna kill you! You know that right?!"
Hiccup smirks at me and says, "Only if he can catch me!"
{Hiccup POV}
After finding helga, I head over to toothless.
Helga asks, "I thought you were going to the war room. Why are you getting back on toothless?"
I answered, "Because I'm going to try and reason with them. Father thinks they cant be reasoned with. I think otherwise. Are you comming?"
Helga scoffs and says, "Someone needs to keep you alive."
Helga hops onto toothless with me and we launch into the air. We head to the stables to grab stormfly and just as we are about to leave, I hear my father order fen to follow after us.
I mutter to myself, "Great. Now I have my stubborn, hard headed twin brother that doesn't have the phrase "give up" in his vocabulary. What could go wrong?"
{Astrid POV}
While following fen's brother over the vast ocean, I noticed that fen was unusually quiet for such a beautiful sight.
I ask him through our link, '~You alright?~'
He replies, '~I'm fine.~'
After hearing his reply, I know something is wrong.
In a more assertive tone, I ask again, '~Usually, when you see something beautiful, you say that nothing is more beautiful than me. So I'll ask again. What's wrong?~'
Again, he responds, '~Nothing.~'
Fed up with him, I say in an annoyed tone, 'I wont ask a third time!'
There was a long pause before he gives off a small sigh, saying in a flat tone, '~This is around the time my mother shows up.~'
Hearing the reason behind his silence, I decide to stop my questioning and rest my head into the crook of his neck.
Giving him a loving squeeze, I say in a solemn tone, '~Sorry.~'
He grabs my hands and gives them a reassuring squeeze, saying, '~It's alright. I guess I'm just a little nervous is all. She disappeared when we were young. I'm just trying to figure out what to say is all.~'
I give a small chuckle, And in a joking manner, say, '~The mighty dragon slayer, Fenrisulfir Horrendous Haddock, is afraid? Wait until Hiccup hears about this! He'll piss himself laughing!~'
{MC POV}
Hearing her jest, I give off a playful scoff, saying '~You wouldn't dare!~'
After a bit more of back and forth, we settle back into a comfortable silence. This silence lasted up until we saw a lone boat with ballistae on the sides.
Seeing it, hiccup and Helga swoop down towards it while I hang back above the clouds to watch the interaction unfold. Just like in the movie, hiccup lands, takes himself prisoner, and willingly gets in the brig.
Looking at astrid, I say, "So, my brother is an idiot after all. Thought I changed that about him."
Astrid giggles behind me and, draping her arms around my neck, says, "Guess not. Some things seem to never change."
I go to look back at her and, before I could signal them to stop, the other dragon riders dive in and grab Hiccup. Flying toward the boat, I land with the rest of the riders. Just in time to hear father scold him.
Hearing me land, he yells, "And where have you been! I thought I told you..."
Cutting him off, I said, "You told me to protect him if needed. From what I saw, he didn't need it."
Hearing my rebuttal, he grumbles something and turns back to hiccup and says, "Men who kill without reason can not be reasoned with."
Hiccup jogs over to Toothless and begins saddling up. Seeing this, I look back at astrid and nod my head at her. Understanding my intention she says, "Be careful."
Kissing her on the cheek, I say, "When am I not?"
Rolling her eyes, she hops off darkwing and walks over to her sister. By the time she reaches Helga, Hiccup is flying off and I hear my father yell, "Lead the others back to berk. I've had enough mutiny for one day!"
As he turns to me, I have darkwing launch off the deck before he could scold me as well.
Nervously, I think to myself, 'Alright, tome to meet mother.'
After a few minutes of catching up to my brother, I am finally able to fly next to him. After a few minutes of silent flying, I hear Hiccup yelling in frustration. Looking over toward him t make a snide comment, My words get caught in my throat. There, standing on the back of a cloud jumper, is the dragon thief. To hiccup she is a mysterious and formidable figure, but I know who she really is.
She is dressed in a dragon-like armor, concealing her identity and giving her an intimidating presence. The armor is intricately designed, with a helmet that has a dragon's face, complete with horns and sharp edges. Her eyes visible through the helmet, revealing a sharp and intense gaze. As soon as she appears, she descends back into the clouds below and after a few tense moments, she breaks through the clouds below and begins to circle us. After circling us a few times, she points her weapon at us and the air gets filled with tension.
Knowing what happens next, I tell darkwing, ~'Whenever hiccup gets grabbed, make sure toothless doesn't drown.'~
After giving the order, I hear Hiccup get scooped off of his dragon. Sensing another dragon approaching me, I order darkwing to dive after toothless. Once we were below the clouds, I put my shirt and jacket into my inventory and unfurl my wings. Taking a moment to look for hiccup, I see the dragon flying into a massive ice structure and launch after it.
