Thomas Shannon suddenly turned his head, his cold eyes staring at her. "If you keep talking nonsense, I'll do as you wish!"
Sophie Sullivan pursed the corner of her mouth and snorted.
She turned her head, looking at the rapidly retreating scenery outside the car window, and called Leo. "There's no need to send someone to pick me up. I'll be at the hospital soon."
Although surprised, Leo still complied. "All right, Miss Cecilia Branford, please be careful on the road."
After hanging up the phone, Sophie felt a burning gaze from her side. She put down her mobile phone, shot him a sidelong glance, and said, "What are you looking at? Haven't you ever seen a beauty before?"
"Heh," Thomas Shannon couldn't help but mock, "Have some shame. Don't act completely shameless just because your actual face is ruined."
What does he mean by 'have some shame'?
Is he questioning her beauty again?
Sophie sneered. "Thomas Shannon, say that again?"
"You're ugly. Don't get too close to me."
