"Actually, it's fine..." Ruth Frazer explained with a smile, "The air in the mountains is good, not so much dust, the servant usually cleans only once every two or three days... Also, my husband isn't here, so it's just me living alone. Simple meals are enough, so we don't need too many servants."
She continued walking a few steps forward and opened a door, "Rest here, I'll have the servant bring some hot drinks over."
After saying this, she smiled at Cherry and left the room.
Once Ruth had gone, Gavin Graves opened the window, letting fresh air flow inside.
"Still feeling uncomfortable?" He touched Cherry's forehead, it wasn't hot, and her face was somewhat rosy, but her brows remained furrowed, clearly feeling unwell.
Cherry sat on the edge of the bed, her forehead nudging against Gavin Graves' palm, softly whining, "Uncomfortable... the smell is everywhere, it's so greasy, I feel like vomiting."
Gavin asked, "The octopus smell?"
Cherry nodded.
