"Yes." James Black nodded, then took Jane Sampson's mobile phone from her hand, handing his mobile phone to her, "It's charging and you're playing with it under the quilt, it's not safe. Use mine."
Jane Sampson glanced at her mobile phone, nodded, held James Black's hand in her palm, then said, "I'll play for a while and then sleep. If you're tired, you can sleep first, no need to mind me."
James Black didn't answer, but his hand wrapped around her waist.
She had been ill for five days, and throughout those days, she ate at most a bowl of plain porridge for all three meals combined. When she was discharged, she saw a weighing scale at the hospital doorway and curiously stepped on it.
In five days, she lost almost ten catties.
So now she really is so skinny she could almost be described as skin and bones.
The weight he had painstakingly helped her regain was once again gone.
"Jane." Thinking about this, James Black said, "You're not allowed to get skinnier anymore."
