Julie Sampton saw that Jane Sampson was actually about to leave, and hurriedly stood up to call out to Jane Sampson. Her voice carried a hint of urgency and even fear.
She couldn't let Jane Sampson leave just like that. If Jane Sampson really left now, then her whole life would truly be ruined.
"Jane Sampson, you can boldly claim that the Black Family doesn't owe us anything, but what about you?" Julie Sampton stepped forward and directly blocked Jane Sampson's path, saying, "The Black Family doesn't owe us, but you, Jane Sampson, you owe me, and you owe the Sampton Family. So what gives you the audacity to refuse so confidently!"
Father Sampton stood off to the side, glanced at Julie, thought for a moment, then said nothing and sat back down, letting Julie block Jane Sampson's way.
"I owe you? And owe the Sampton Family?" Jane Sampson sneered.
