I felt like biting my nails as I watched Papa and Sir Eizan stare each other down.
"Come on, Papa! You can do it!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.
Papa just smirked as the barrage of ruby spikes rushed straight at him. Why wasn't he dodging?
I glanced up at Mama who stood behind me, her face calm. If she was calm, Papa must've had a plan in mind. He always had a trick up his sleeve, even when things looked really bad.
He took a deep breath and swung his scythe. A blast of air cut through the crystal spikes and struck Sir Eizan's armor. But the musclehead remained standing, even as a deep gash covered his angel tool-equip armor. I could see why people said the man was immortal, who just shrugs off a hit like that?
Sir Eizan smirked. "You've lost, clown. My banner is the one Kuroriku is going to reunite around."
Papa's clones rushed Sir Eizan again, but the man dodged their attacks, having the clones strike one another instead.
