I stared at my hands, the memory of Eijiro and Kina's hugs flooding my mind. Their warmth lingered. Saying bye to them wasn't easy. Especially at a time when the Kuroyuki were on the move. But with Kira staying back with our kids, I felt a bit better. Although, fighting was still hard on her.
On the other hand, fighting came naturally to me. I thrived in the heat of battle, enjoying the rush of the adrenaline. The blood of warriors ran in my veins. But Kira was like a flower in the snow, delicate yet resilient. She had blossomed in a world that often felt cold and unforgiving. Her vibrant purple hair swayed like petals in the wind, and her laughter was a melody that could melt the hardest of hearts. But I knew that, like any flower, she required care and protection. I didn't wish to add more pain to her life. She had been forced to kill people by the Grand Duke of Kuroyuki. Setsugen saw her as little more than a killing machine.
