Eileen PoV
I watched as Raisuke rolled up his sleeves. Eiko mimicked his, even though her dress's sleeves weren't in the way.
"Alright, little baker," Raisuke said, his voice cheerful. "Let's get this cake made!"
Eiko nodded, her smile wide.
"Here, hand me your doll so it won't get dirty," I whispered, holding my hand out.
"Okay. Dollie, Mommy is gonna keep you safe while we bake!" Eiko said, reluctantly handing over her beloved doll. I took it gently, placing it on a high shelf out of reach of any flour and frosting.
"Now that we have Dollie safely tucked away, let's get started," Raisuke said, his enthusiasm infectious. He turned back to the counter, gathering the ingredients while Eiko bounced on her toes, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
"Can I help measure the flour?" Eiko asked, her voice full of eagerness.
"Just avoid dropping it on yourself," I said, smirking.
