The sky was gloomy accompanied with loud thunder and heavy rain. The heaven seemed like it was mourning. On the top floor of a high rise building only the sound of typing could be heard. The working woman gets up an makes herself a cup of coffee and leisurely drinks the coffee. She looks out of the window.
Outside, the sky was dark but the light from the building, vehicles and street light were enough to light up the surrounding. Despite the heavy rain there were people on the street enjoying the rain.This scene looked so peaceful and beautiful. She glanced at her watch and decides to call the quit for the day. She exits the building and drives toward her home. Soon, she notices something suspicious. Somebody seemed to be following her. She purposefully took three turn so as to confirm her suspicion. And guess what! she was right she was indeed being followed. She acted quickly and speed up but she miscalculated.
She felt something warm flowing down her face. Her eyelid felt heavy and she could feel her consciousness fading. Her entire life flashed before her eyes and she couldnot help but feel a little regretful.
Am i dying? Ah! what a shame .
I wish i could see him once again. She could feel tears running down her face.
Soon, everything went black. After what felt like eternity, she felt herself being held up against a warm body. She could hear a silent cry . She struggled to opened her eyes but everything was blur and thus failed to see the face of the person holding her. She felt happy that somebody was there to accompany her at her final moment. She couldnot help but smile at that person.
She felt warm and relaxed. She could hear the sound of bird chirps. She could even hear the alarm in the back ground. Wait, what!! She opened her eyes and what greeted her was a familiar ceiling. Oh! Shit!!!! not again she could not help but curse out. Despite, her cursing she lazily got up from the bed. She look at the date and it was 23 feb 2023.
Haah!!! i guess i will go visit my parents today.
She dressed up and headed outside. She first headed to the flower shop and got few bouquets of red and white roses. Everybody in her family loved roses. She got onto a taxi and soon reached her destination.
I am here to visit you mom, dad.
Sorry!! i have been quite busy these days so, i couldnot come visit you. I swear i"ll visit you more often.
Look, i brought your favourite flower. Here, red for mom and white for dad.
And she put red roses on her mother and white on her father grave. She no longer spoke just kept standing there still infront of her parents. She thought she no longer misses them but standing there she couldnot help but shed tears silently. She looked at the photo on the grave and couldnot help but miss her father's warm smile and her mother's tsundere attitude. She longed for their smile, their warmth. oh! how much she wished she could go back in time to see their smile once again.
She continued standing there for who knows how long until she heard somebody calling her. She turned around and saw a man.
why are you here??
The man stared at her and after awhile he repiled "As your fiancee, is it weird for me to visit your parents".
