"We actually got introduced to each other through our family." Auralia chuckled nervously. "His mother and my grandmother are friends, so we met through them at a café and things just… clicked."
It wasn't the whole truth, but Auralia couldn't really say their whole marriage was planned by Maria Ezra so that Auralia would be some secret bodyguard for Alexander. That sounded like some kind of novel plot.
Not to mention, she couldn't exactly spill the beans to anyone else. So, she kept it vague with some bits of truth to the story. After all, the best lies had some truth to them.
"Oh that's cute." Kira murmured with a soft smile. "Guess it means there are no issues with your mother-in-law."
"Yeah." Auralia laughed. "What about you? How did you and Michael meet?"
Part of her was curious as to how two completely different people met. They didn't seem like the types to be in the same social circles with their opposing personalities.
