(Jason's POV)
"As long as you're not impregnating anyone, I'm fine with it." Kagura told me while crossing her arms
I raised an eyebrow, "You serious?" I asked
We were outside in the field, I had gone outside after eating breakfast. Erion was running around flying a kite Kagura had brought him a gift. The wind today was kind enough to have the thing flying high in the air as he let out laughs of joy while Kagura and I stood in the distance.
She nodded, "Yea, sure, why not?" She said, "It's the only way you'll get your points, no? I had a feeling that your weird system wouldn't give you any from Mavis and I."
I rubbed my head, "I find it weird that you and Mavis accepted that fact so easily." I told her, "I tried explaining it to Lucy and she found it hard to believe...."
"Yea, well, Lucy doesn't know about your memories, does she?" Kagura said
I looked at her, "That's true..." I said
Kagura took a step towards me and turned to see Erion off into the distance, "I knew I had to share you with someone. I'm glad it was Mavis, romantically that is." She said, "But deep down, I knew you would go and sleep with others even if you chose me. That was a fact I came to accept. But after finding out about your system, well, it makes sense why you are the way you are. You do it to get stronger to protect those you care about. That, I can accept. And I respect it."
"I see..." I said, "That's a sick way of accepting that your man is out fucking other women....."
"This isn't an open relationship, Jason." She said giving me a serious look, "I don't like it, but it's the only way for you to get stronger. Not like you need to, you're plenty strong. But you need to unlock those certain magic, and I cannot keep you from doing that."
I sighed, "I don't like it either." I said, "But..."
"Once you get started, you won't stop. I know." She said, "Like I said, I don't mind if you go out and have a little fun, I guess. But do not, and I seriously mean this...."
She turned to face me completely and patted my chest, giving me a very serious look.
"Do not impregnate anyone." She said with a very dead serious tone, "You understand me? I swear, if it's the same situation as Seila-"
"Shh." I said putting my finger on her lips, "Don't remind me of that. Look, I would never do that to you and Mavis, okay? We made a promise. I won't impregnate anyone other than my wife. And well, you still ain't in the mix.....marriage-wise..."
She blushed slightly, "Well...Uhm....you know..." She said taking a step back, "I'm really busy....you know that....I can't...think of marriage...."
I chuckled, "It's okay." I said, "We can wait."
She crossed her arms, "Okay..." She said, "But just so you know, I'm okay with it. But you remember the rules, right?"
I nodded, "I give you guys a coded message when it goes down." I said, "That way you keep track of how many women."
"And no more than 3 in between having sex with either Mavis and I, Jason." She told me, "A little too much and we'll be upset."
I nodded, "Sure sure." I said turning to face where Erion was, "I understand. But there might be exceptions, as we discussed."
"Right." She said, "If your little system thing gives you the opportunity for a powerful spell to be unlocked, you let us know. We'll give you the okay."
I nodded, "Right." I said crossing my arms, "That's good to know."
These are rules that were implemented by Mavis and Kagura a while ago. When we began our relationship; I felt guilty about them letting me have sex with other women while they stayed loyal to me. They placed limits on me, allowing me to have sex with other women but cannot go past 3 women in between the times I sleep with either of them.
I also have to let them know when I do it, who I do it with, and how many times they make me ejaculate. I had no idea why they wanted that specific details but it turns out that they can be kind of jealous and would try to one-up that number.
It makes sense they would place limits on me and all, I mean, it looks bad that I'm out fucking other women that ain't my girlfriend and wife.
After a few moments of silence, watching Erion running around with a huge grin on his face while holding the string attached to the kite up in the air, I felt Kagura's eyes on me.
"So..." she said, "I heard there was talk about a strange cult near the Sun Village."
I raised an eyebrow, "Sun Village?" I asked, "Isn't that the one with the giants?"
She nodded, "Yea." She said, "Some girls from the guild are gonna check it out. I have to leave and continue a different quest I have with Arania, only came here because we have a couple days of rest and it's on the way to the location I have to meet her."
I looked at her, "What girls?" I asked
She shrugged, "Milliana and some other rookies she's mentoring." she said, "Keep an eye out for them."
I blinked, "Why would I do that?"
"I figured you'd be interested in checking it out." She said, "Cultists. Weird magic. That whole thing. Think I forgot about the whole Avatar incident?"
"That was different and you know it." I said with a slight frown, "And I haven't bothered to check Dark Guilds ever since the war ended...."
"I suggest you go back to it." She said, "And check the Sun Village. I heard rumors about the eternally burning flames the Giants worship."
"Oh, that?" I said, "That's the soul of Atlas Flame, a Dragon that Natsu's foster dad was friends with. No biggie."
"I won't even ask how you would know that. But coming from you, I would assume it's true...." she said
"It is. Trust me...." I said, "But wait.....hm...now that you mention it....."
I put my hand on my chin and looked down, getting into deep thought.
If Atlas Flame's soul is still there, maybe he would have some information about the shit that's been going on. He is a dragon and all. That and I haven't been able to commune with Igneel and the other dragons in order to ask them about the Heavenly Wheel God and all that.
"Something wrong?" she asked
"I think it might be worth checking out the Sun Village." I said, "Get some answers."
"Okay." She said, "Like I said, keep an eye out for the girls, okay? And..."
I looked at her, "What is it?"
"I'm just saying. If you were to require points...." She started, "Just let me know if you decide to 'look' in their direction."
"Okay." I said, "You're fine with that?"
"You've slept with my best friend." She said, "It won't change anything."
"Okay." I said, "I'll let you know."
"Thanks." She said, "And did Mavis tell you yet?"
I looked at her, "What?"
She smiled at me, "She wants one." She said,
"A baby."
