Chapter 22 - Chapter 22 Satoru Gojo Teach Me

After the fox girl left.

Qin Fu stepped into the passive skill upgrade chamber.

[Upgrade (Meditation Lv.1) passive skill — cost: 1,000 Paradise Coins. Proceed?]

"Upgrade."

The instant the coins were deducted, Qin Fu felt the surrounding space elements stir. The mana within his body began to flow more vividly, pulsing in rhythm with his heartbeat.

It felt like taking a sip of ice-cold cola in the middle of summer — refreshing from the inside out.

Five minutes later, he opened his eyes.

[Meditation (Passive Skill) has been upgraded to Lv.2.]

The skill list hadn't changed much, so he continued upgrading.

[Meditation (Passive Skill) has been upgraded to Lv.3.]

[Meditation (Passive Skill) has been upgraded to Lv.4.]

[Meditation (Passive Skill) has been upgraded to Lv.5.]

Only when Meditation reached Level 5 did a new prompt appear from Reincarnation Paradise.

[Your skill (Meditation) has reached Lv.5. You may now select an additional bonus reward.]

1. Slightly increase affinity with spatial elements.

2. Increase maximum mana by 200.

3. Increase mana recovery speed by 10%.

Qin Fu pondered briefly before choosing the first option. Having read the original work, he knew just how crucial spatial affinity would become later on.

Once the choice was confirmed, the upgrade prompt reappeared.

[Since Meditation (Passive Skill) has reached Lv.5, the upgrade cost is now 2,000 Paradise Coins.]

Qin Fu winced at the doubled price, but gritted his teeth and pressed on.

[Meditation (Passive Skill) has been upgraded to Lv.6.]

[Meditation (Passive Skill) has been upgraded to Lv.7.]

...

[Meditation (Passive Skill) has been upgraded to Lv.10.]

[Meditation (Passive Skill) has reached its maximum level. Please choose one of the following advanced rewards.]

1. Greatly enhance affinity with spatial elements.

2. Increase maximum mana by 400.

3. Increase mana recovery speed by 20%.

4. Unlock Deep Meditation.

Qin Fu didn't hesitate long. Since he'd already chosen spatial affinity earlier, he decided to commit fully and selected it again.

He then opened his skill list.

Skill 4

[Meditation]: Lv.10 (Passive Skill) — Max Level

Effect: Allows mana to recover naturally through meditation.

(Current cap: 912 mana. Intelligence bonus cap: 112. Each point of Intelligence now increases maximum mana by 8.)

Note: Spatial element affinity has been greatly enhanced.

Seeing the fully enhanced [Meditation] skill, Qin Fu felt a wave of satisfaction wash over him. With a faint smile, he left the upgrade chamber.

Next, he planned to enhance [Spell Mastery]. He still had ten Soul Crystals (Small) left, and the skill didn't require Paradise Coins to upgrade — meaning he could save all his remaining funds for the Proving Grounds.

Qin Fu returned to his exclusive room.

He selected [Spell Mastery] from the menu.

[Upgrade (Spell Mastery Lv.1) passive skill — cost: Soul Crystal (Small). Proceed?]

Without hesitation, he confirmed. The crystal in his hand shattered into pure energy.

The enhancement began.

Darkness engulfed his vision. The world fell silent. Then, before him, a figure formed — a being sculpted entirely of Soul Crystal light, weaving countless spells with fluid precision. Mana pulsed through its transparent body, tracing luminous paths in the air like flowing constellations.

.................

[Spell Mastery (Passive Skill) has been raised to Lv.9.]

[Spell Mastery (Passive Skill) has been raised to Lv.10.]

Qin Fu opened his eyes slowly. Silver-gray light flashed across his skin so often it felt like he might be torn apart.

He clicked the skill list.

Skill 3.

Skill effect: Increases spell power by 28 percent and greatly improves spell proficiency.

Lv.10 Additional Ability: Void Fluctuation (Beginner). This ability cannot be enhanced in Reincarnation Paradise and can only be perceived by the bearer.

Qin Fu calculated quietly. It was indeed a specialization ability, and it was powerful.

Leaving the exclusive room, Qin Fu stopped by Blacksmith Street to haggle for a while.

In the end he bought what he needed for four thousand Paradise Coins.

After paying a two thousand coin deposit, Qin Fu headed toward the Proving Ground. He planned to stay there as long as necessary.

Nearly thirty thousand Paradise Coins remained in his pocket. He did not believe there would be a point where learning could not improve him further.

....

Bang.

In the trial ground, Qin Fu lost count of how many times he had been defeated.

He had intended to show off after analyzing the Fireball Technique, but when he condensed a void sphere the power of the void responded unexpectedly.

Gojo Satoru countered with a backhand flip, a technique so terrifying Qin Fu nearly died from the impact.

After ten hours of intense combat, Qin Fu finally gained a sliver of command over the infinite technique. He had learned a trace of its essence, an ability called [Stopping Power].

He was still far from reliably triggering it passively, but he could force it out actively. The move used the power of the void to extend the distance between him and his opponent indefinitely, making it impossible for normal attacks to reach him.

Mana consumption and mental strain were severe. He could not use it many times in a single battle. Even so, it gave him a decisive advantage.

Only then did Qin Fu feel secure.

Mastering this meant that unless the enemy used Su Xiao's infinitely strong technique, Qin Fu was effectively untouchable.

Even Su Xiao, given Qin Fu's current stats plus the black flash and the Unending Combat fundamentals he had trained over the past two days.

[Unending Combat Basics] Lv.1 (Passive)

Skill effect: Increases the user's melee attack power by 1 percent and slightly improves fighting skill.

He could still close the distance with two quick moves.

But it was only two moves, so maintaining distance remained preferable.

As for Cang, He, and Fu, they could not use the full version yet. The difference lay in the void's potency. As for the Black Flash, it was a bug-level skill. He excelled at spells, but his melee talent was a mess.

Black Flash triggered only rarely, and once it happened it was difficult to provoke again.

Just as Qin Fu prepared to press the attack, Gojo Satoru halted the match and smiled.

"Congratulations. I have nothing more to teach you. The Six Eyes and the Domain are not learned easily. You have found your path. Continue on it."

Qin Fu stared at Gojo Satoru for a moment, then replied with a touch of disappointment.

"Then it seems our teaching is coming to an end."

Gojo Satoru smiled and nodded. Suddenly Qin Fu lifted his head and spoke with firm resolve.

"Although I do not know if I will ever reach your world, I promise that if I ever do, I will give you a happy ending. I will take care of those disgusting high school bullies."

Gojo Satoru laughed at that.

"It seems the school did what it had to."

He removed his blindfold, revealing clear sky-blue eyes, and laughed carelessly.

"If fate allows us to meet again, remember to treat me to a daifuku with edamame paste and whipped cream."

Before he finished speaking, his figure vanished from the Proving Ground. The corner of Qin Fu's mouth lifted.

"That really suits you."
