[Hunters are welcome to use the Proving Ground. Please select a mode.]
[Auxiliary Mode / Combat Mode]
Without hesitation, he chose Auxiliary Mode.
[Auxiliary Mode selected. Please choose the summoning mirror level.]
Three options appeared before Qin Fu: Low-Level Mirror, Mid-Level Mirror, and High-Level Mirror.
Below them were the prices:
• Low-Level Mirror — 100 Park Coins per hour
• Mid-Level Mirror — 1,000 Park Coins per hour
• High-Level Mirror — 10,000 Park Coins per hour
Without hesitation, Qin Fu paid 1,000 Park Coins and selected the Mid-Level Mirror.
[Gojo Satoru Mirror Image has been summoned — from the world of Jujutsu Kaisen.]
As a cloud of milky-white light dispersed, a tall man in a black school uniform appeared in the Proving Ground, his eyes hidden beneath a blindfold.
"Ah, ah… so you're the one I'm supposed to train?"
A powerful spatial aura—was this a space-type technique? Qin Fu watched closely.
"Gojo Satoru… his Limitless Technique, along with Cursed Techniques like Blue, Red, and Hollow Purple, are all excellent options," Qin Fu mused.
"Limitless allows infinite distance between him and his opponent. Blue creates gravitational pull, Red releases repulsion, and together they form Hollow Purple — a devastating technique."
He took a step forward.
"I'm Qin Fu. Time's short. Can you teach me Limitless, Blue, and Red?"
Gojo raised a brow, a faint smirk tugging at his lips.
"You know about me, huh? But my techniques aren't easily learned," Gojo replied, smirking.
"Let me see what level you're at first."
The moment his words fell, Gojo vanished.
Qin Fu's pupils shrank as he quickly scanned his surroundings for Gojo. Before he could react, he felt a tremendous force strike the back of his head. Instantly, he was pinned to the ground with Gojo now sitting casually atop him.
Gojo sighed. "At this level? Hopeless. How can I teach you like this?"
Qin Fu struggled to break free, but his efforts were useless. Suddenly, the power of the Void surged within him on instinct, shifting the balance.
Gojo's expression shifted slightly, and he instantly retreated several meters away, his demeanor turning serious.
Gojo's tone changed. "Your skills are rough, but that ability is dangerous."
"Come on. Try attacking me with your energy — however you see fit."
He beckoned with a finger, tauntingly.
Qin Fu's expression hardened. He raised his hand, channeling Void energy that burst forth in a wide arc, blanketing the training ground. Gojo responded by dodging with ease, completely evading the energy.
"Focus your power!" Gojo shouted. "What's the point of spreading it so wide?!"
Bang!
A heavy blow from Gojo landed on Qin Fu's face, sending him flying backward across the grounds.
"Void Cut!"
While airborne, Qin Fu quickly gathered his mana and unleashed a silver-gray beam, slicing it through the air directly toward Gojo.
Gojo didn't even dodge. The beam dissipated harmlessly against him, leaving him completely unscathed.
Qin Fu scowled. Limitless was truly infuriating.
Gojo grinned. "Not bad. You might just learn from me yet. Let's keep going."
The two figures clashed across the Proving Ground, movements blurring as time passed.
After an hour, Gojo Satoru's image faded, leaving Qin Fu collapsing onto the floor, gasping for breath.
He lay there, replaying the fight in his mind.
He still wasn't skilled in close combat, but he felt steadier.
After rising, Qin Fu skipped another mirror. He hadn't truly rested since returning—his earlier energy was just boosted attributes.
After that brutal fight — or rather, beating-all he wanted was to collapse onto his bed and sleep.
Dragging his weary body back to his private space, Qin Fu fell into deep sleep.
...
Ten hours later, a quiet calm settled over the dormitory.
Qin Fu woke slowly. His body felt light, his mind refreshed — he had never felt so comfortable before.
He gnawed on some dry rations while glancing at his stay timer.
There were still more than two days left.
Instead of returning to Gojo Satoru immediately, Qin Fu considered his options.
Instead, he took out the [Meditation] skill scroll. With over forty-three thousand Paradise Coins remaining, he decided to strengthen himself before meeting Gojo Satoru.
As soon as he chose to learn [Meditation], Qin Fu's mind slipped into a tranquil, ethereal state.
The surrounding spatial elements surged toward him wildly — for an instant, it was as if he was space itself.
When the sensation faded, Qin Fu slowly opened his eyes.
[Meditation and class compatibility is 90%. Added to skill bar.]
He opened his skill list.
Skill 4: [Meditation] Lv . 1 (Passive)
Effect: Allows mana to recover gradually through meditation.
(Maximum mana: 400 points. Each point of Intelligence increases the cap by 5.)
Qin Fu then took out a Soul Crystal (Small) and examined the next entry below Meditation.
[Skill 5: Locked. Requires Soul Crystal (Small) ×1 and 1,000 Paradise Coins to unlock.]
He confirmed his choice by consuming the items.
[You have unlocked Void Mage Skill 5: Spell Analysis.]
Skill 5: [Spell Analysis] Lv.Max
Effect: Devour any spell-type skill scroll. The absorbed scroll will not appear in the skill list but will be analyzed into its fundamental spell structure.
Description: If you can't analyze every spell, you don't deserve to be called a mage!
Qin Fu stared at the new skill, momentarily speechless. After the shock faded, his excitement returned with full force.
The skill's potential dwarfed its limits. Ordinary mages might master a few spells in life.
But for him—someone backed by Paradise—it was a divine gift.
Unable to contain his excitement, Qin Fu took out [Fireball Technique] and activated [Spell Analysis].
A silver-gray vortex bloomed in his palm, devouring the scroll instantly.
The next second, the fundamental spell structure of Fireball unfolded in his mind. The intricate patterns of mana weaves drew him in completely.
Half an hour passed before Qin Fu finally returned to himself.
Once he finished his analysis, Qin Fu quickly made his way toward the Skill Upgrade Hall—his anticipation to challenge Gojo Satoru stronger than ever.
He soon arrived at the grand palace known as the Skill Upgrade Hall. Massive pillars rose over ten meters high, lining both sides of the majestic chamber.
A fox girl trotted up to him and gave a polite bow. Her fluffy ears twitched, and her large white chest nearly spilled out of her uniform.
Qin Fu blinked, surprised. When he'd read about this place, he'd assumed the "reception staff" was just a formality. Now, seeing her in person, he couldn't help but wonder if this was really a legal institution.
He shook his head to clear the distracting thought.
"Lord Contractor, this is your first time visiting the Skill Upgrade Hall. I'm the receptionist here — please allow me to give you a free introduction," the fox-eared girl said in a soft, charming voice, smiling sweetly as she gestured for him to follow.
"What services are… cough—what functions are available here?"
Qin Fu caught himself mid-sentence and coughed awkwardly.
Blushing slightly, the fox girl led the way ahead, explaining the hall's features in detail.
There were two main areas: one for active skill upgrades and another for passive skill upgrades.
"Lord Contractor, this is the passive skill upgrade area," she said gently. "You can choose any upgrade chamber here. Please note that during the process, you may experience a brief trance. That is completely normal."
Qin Fu nodded and casually tipped her ten Paradise Coins — it wouldn't hurt to be polite.
The fox girl bowed deeply again, smiling with delight, and Qin Fu couldn't help but think that the view was quite the reward in itself.
