Coming back to present time.
As soon as I saw the door towards my orphanage I stood frozen, there was a man with dark robes and greenish black hairs standing infront of it and holding a letter.
Since the day i met the man I thought he was just another one of my imaginations created by my young brain in my childhood as a coping mechanism. But it doesn't seem that way now looking at him standing live and fresh while wearing a smirk.
"What's up kiddo? Did you think I wouldn't come after the promise I made with you? ", he said to me.
"Nope... I didn't even think you were real", I replied and soon saw the man looking at my face with a blank stare.
"... You always say surprising things, anyway this is your letter of admittance in the "Vinkort school for magic", where you will be learning about our kind and magic. All wizards and witches start learning magic at the age of 16 as doing so before could endanger their life when misused.", said the man
" Now go on and pack your belongings, I will take you to school straight away and you will get your necessary magic belongings there only including the choice of your weapon"
I went in my room and packed my sets of clothes in my small suitcase and held it in my right hand. When the man saw me just holding a little suitcase and coming back down with calm look on my face asking no questions whatsoever about my situation he was befuddled again.
Then I asked a question for the second time in my life " What's your name? ".
"... My name is Aberth Elijah Serpentine. A new professor at Vinkort. I was hired to increase the combat capabilities of the new generation. "
"I see, nice to meet you Professor Serpentine"
"Please call me Professor Elijah , you see people get scared by my last name easily.. You will come to know of it later on. Now off we should go. "
I looked at him and around me and saw no carriage for us and asked, "how are we gonna go to the school? "
"Well I can certainly use teleportation magic but your body is not strong enough to withstand it.. So just follow me on foot. "
Then he led me to the dar end of a street and knocked the door of a general store. He didn't even stop and kept on moving till I saw a small room surrounded by glittering lights.
"This is a teleportation runic formation which normal people can also use without many discomforts. " Said the man.
"So Professor Elijah, how did you know where I live and how did you acquire my information. "
"Instead of asking about the intriguing new life you are going to live you are worried about such a mundane thing. I left a print on you when I met you that day and just used it to find your location and got your information from the orphanage. "
"Now buckle up, teleportation is about to start", said the man again and used his stick to start touching the lights.
Suddenly the brightness of the room left and the next moment when my eyes opened, I saw I was inside an office where an old man in a suit was sitting. Now this wasn't what I expected from a wizard at all. But then again, maybe both the societies are linked much more than I thought.
"Welcome back Mr. Serpentine, I see you got our new student to Vinkort much earlier than the start of the year. ", Said the old man with the biggest white beard I have ever seen.
