As we moved out of the tailor shop, my eyes went to a shop which had many animals and birds inside it.
Seeing my look professor Elijah said, "This is the pet store for students to bond with magical creatures which can be used for sending messages or even fighting with them. Not many chose to bond with magical creatures since the bond is usually made by creatures instead of the wizard or witch. "
"I want to see if there is a pet who catches my eyes", I said while looking at the eyes of professor and seeing him nod his head I went inside the store.
Animals of all sorts ranging from mouse to ferocious cats of sole kind were present there. I noticed almost all of them were smaller in size, no large animal or bird was there.
I kept looking through the animals and birds and all went quiet and were scared whenever my eyes went past them. I could feel fear from everyone of them.
I saw an unusually small cat which seemed like it was bullied all the time, looking straight into my eyes and emitting no fear whatsoever. It had black fluffy fur and silver eyes. And those silver eyes reminded me of the only human I care for, I instantly took liking to it and caught it by its neck and took it to the counter and paid the price for it.
Professor Elijah was looking at me weirdly along with the female shop owner. After sometime the shop owner couldn't hold it in and said, " That's not how you hold a cat and its a magical creature different from normal cats, it has emotions and intelligence similar to a human being"
I was confused while wondering what the problem was and brought the cat in front of my face while still holding it from its neck.
"But the cat has already bound itself to me without even asking and it doesn't seem to be in pain", I replied looking confused.
Professor Elijah muttered under his breadth loud enough for me to hear, " Just hold it more carefully and with two hands".
And i did what he told and saw the cat relaxing a little. I shrugged my shoulders and adjusted the daggers bound at my waist a little before continuing holding it.
Then we met Headmaster and went back to his office.
Inside the office.
"Now that your admission process is complete I welcome you to our school.. I hope you will find good friends and allies here for the rest of your life Mr. Grimsby", Headmaster said while smiling.
" Thank you Headmaster "
"Now for your time before the classes start you can visit library to find out more about our world and assimulate yourself into our system. You can stay at the dormitories assigned for first years, you can follow your professor and he will guide you towards it... Now off you go!", headmaster said in a cheerful tone.
While our way towards the dormitories Professor Elijah said, " Learn how to protect yourself first Daemon... Our world isn't harmless like the blissful world. Here there are aristocrats with biase towards nobility and commoners struggling for more resources. There are many conflicts even between nobility and many countries' magical councils. Everything is decided by power. I recommend learning a dark art called nullify as your magic capacity is less. It requires using your brain powers to calculate the spell being cast and using a counter sequence of that spell to cancel it. It is very hard and almost no one can cast it among students.. Even among adult wizards and witches this art is based on their own comprehensive capabilities. In someone's hand this art might be the greatest weapon while in other's it might be completely useless. If you master and can use it to some degrees of level it will be a great weapon for you since you can't use magic that much and will have to rely on your physical capabilities. Use all your time before the term starts to know everything about our world and train yourself. "

After stopping in front of dormitory building, professor asked the caretaker present there to assign me a room inside the first year's quarters.
The room allocated to me was old fashioned but very large with a very comfortable bed and attached washroom. It was honestly very good compared to my room at the orphanage.
I felt out of place and instead of sitting on the bed went to sit on the floor, I have alot of problems with my mentality and I know it. With me not understanding any positive feelings and feeling out of place with everyone who does, life has been tough till now. But I learned to act and go with the flow.
I know feeling only negative emotions and not understanding anything positive means I'm not right. Something is broken inside me just like all the orphanage kids said. Only the presence of Luna defies my nature completely. I don't know what it is about her, but i find myself caring for her deeply and will eliminate anyone who tries to harm her. I treat her like a sister but I know she has some feelings for me. I ignore them all the time knowing I can't understand them and I worry I won't be able to give her what she wants. It's better to just care for her like I do. I left our fates to her choice in the end after thinking hard, I will do anything she wants and when she wants.
