"Attention. Mass fire has been caused in Information and Study. Please ensure any important documents and files are to be taken out before the fire destroys it. Contact local law enforcement and use any snow or foam-based magic styles to put it out." An alarm, one that immediately had the two boys worried, but Harvard was quick on reaching and explaining the situation, as they'd see the lights begin to flicker. Solomon and Stolas were quick on setting up their own lights in case of a blackout, while Adel and Koina were quick on returning. "THE HECK'S HAPPENING!? There's a fire going on here?!?" The Serpent asked, as he'd try to see if anyone else is in need of saving.
"Zazel did it. He's fishing out the one guy that was in a mission before!" Harvard replied, trying to catch up with Adel.
"ZAZEL!? The hell did he saw that warranted arson??!"
"In all fairness, I was probably about to do the same thing."
"Cool, but that's NOT what I'm asking!"
Shouts and screams can be heard, slams and crashes against the walls and windows, shattering of glass as a desk went through it and broke upon impact. As soon as Harvard tried to check for the old lady, she was gone. Vanished without any trace. Crying was heard from the second floor, heavy steps as Jonah would rush down, panicking, running towards the Mother and hugging her tightly. Such distress would make the boys slightly uncomfortable, but also confused. Harvard would try to snap out of his worries and focus, but Zazel would be quicker on the draw once he meets up with them again. Both would grab Jonah by the shoulders and pull him away, which only resulted in more crying. "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! MOMMYYYYYYYYYYY!!! HELP MEEEE!!!" The child screamed, his arms trying to reach her.
"WAIT! Hold on a second!" Zazel replied, but the child wasn't having it.
"PAPA'S ROOM IS ON FIRE!! THERE'S A CREEPY MONSTER THERE!!! HOLD ME, MOMMYYYYYYYYY!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"
"Kid, Your Mom and Dad are literally causing-" Zazel's words were cut by Harvard, shaking his head and doing a throat cutting gesture. It was clear that the child is in distress. He won't be listening to anyone while he sobbed away. Zazel sighed and continued on, facing against the Mother. "HEY! You're involved with lots of grave robbing and extortions. Cough it up!"
"Extortion!?" Solomon would be questioning what's going on, but Harvard gestured the same, as Jonah began to speak.
"Wuh...? What are you talking about?? Mommy's been with me si-" The child asked, but Zazel was quick on the retort.
"Your 'Mommy' has been in cahoots with someone that's been ruining lives from the get-go! Stacking mass debt, threats by Hunters, all of it! I'm sorry, dude, but-"
"NO! I don't believe you!! We went on picnics! We went hiking across the forests! I can't see Mommy being someone like that! That's not true, right Mommy!? RIGHT!!?" His desperation was prevalent, and the Mom was quick on consoling and singing a small lullaby, a soothing song that would let Jonah be at ease. Zazel recognized that she wasn't going to fess anything up, let alone with the child in the area. He's going to need to be direct and say their names.
"Jackal Straum. Arthur Felks. Edward von Kokonen. Those were the ones you were gonna tax soon, weren't you?" The demon asked, quieting the room. While Harvard signaled for the boys to try to leave in order to get the House out of the shop, the doors began to close on everyone. Toys and trinkets began to activate, a call of the artificial. The Mother remains stern, yet the child began to speak, his voice breaking.
"What...?"
"You heard me." Zazel readied himself as he faced the two, a sigil made as he stared at them. "You're looking at the one who burned those papers. Wiped everyone's debt clean while I was at it. Since your mom is involved..." He'd let his words linger to see the reaction, a trick he picked up from the Card Magician: Instigation. It wasn't long before the objects began to come to life, with some already twitching, forcing Solomon and Stolas to face the two, as well as Harvard catching a quick glimpse of light from beyond the two. He'd nod to Zazel to see if he can handle them, whilst the Demon nodded back, letting Harvard and Criollo face the new threat.
Twitching and cracking, as if bone was breaking from his body, shifting around, his skin visibly aged, his eyes now bloodshot and baggy. Zazel was surprised that the child was in cahoots, but one sentence out of him was enough to let the Demon know exactly what he was. "YOU WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?!??!!" he'd scream, prompting the mother to react and try to quell the 'boy', before he'd snap his fingers and cause the maternal figure to shut down, breaking apart, steam blasting off from her body. She wasn't a living being, but a puppet. She'd have her parts attach onto the 'child', adorning her like armor, her head morphing and becoming his helmet, her arms as his gauntlets, her chest and torso as his personal plating, her legs as attachments and strings to let him pull himself up. A circle was visible in his chest, a signal for its remaining energy, its own living battery.
"So you're the one behind the Grave's Deaths."
"And you're the one who murdered my profits."
"I guess I am, Brunono..."
"Good. Means I can personally take care of the problem myself." The man was quick in launching his strings, razor wired and ready to shred into the Demon, prompting Zazel to counter it with Asmodeus and blast the strings down in hot red flame, an explosion to push the two back. The Demon would be keeping himself outside, seeing Brunono swoop in, the strings holding him up as if the Heavens have him as his personal puppet. He'd create another sigil, Sabnock, in order to set up a sword, and rushed in all the same.
Both have a fire in their eyes, a chance to enact their personal judgement on each other. Even though Brunono has never met the Demon, he shares the same feelings in wiping out the black stain that squandered his personal wealth for good.
