The revolver blasted out lead as it was aimed directly at the primal vampires head, only for the creature to twist just in time so that only it's ear was blown off but backed off as it winced in pain.
Spinning around, his second revolver shot out a bullet aimed at a female vampires, it appeared like it was going to strike true and splatter the vampires brain onto the fresh snow, only for the vampire to lift her hand up!
The bullet slammed through its flesh, bones and came out the other side of her hand and hit her skull. By then the bullet had most of its momentum and stuck out of her skull by only a few centimeters!
Nick fired two more shots to the same affect, merely wounding the vampires and not actually killing them. His sense of smell was actually beneficial in combat, every time a vampire tried to sneak up behind him he could smell their stench of decay grow stronger!
A vampire lunged at Nick, his revolver burst with fire and launched a ball of lead into the vampire shoulder but it remained undeterred and continued on. Nick desperately backstepped away but managed to kick the vampires leg out from under it causing the vampire to tumble onto the ground.
'These vampires aren't use to humans who can react to their speed, their movements and attack are untrained and rely solely on their superior strength. They don't know how to react but more importantly, they're scared of me!'
Unlike the humans they've slaughtered with ease before, Nick was putting up a much stronger fight. Normally one vampire could wipe out a dozen humans with gun, but four are struggling against just one human!
Nick knew he couldn't fight them like this, their reaction speed was fast enough to dodge or block the bullets. He needed to get them in a confined space where they couldn't dodge his bullets!
As he brandished his two revolvers and fired at the vampires who got too close, the pain if the injury stopped them from advancing. The vampires spoke some ancient language and were conversing with one another, he couldnt understand them but understood they were cursing at each other.
As they argued he surveyed the surrounding looking around for any place he could run.
He saw a groceries store, gas station and a few houses, nothing that would give him the environment he wanted for this fight. He was about to give up on the search and just fight it out here when he saw a manhole poking out of the snow.
"The sewers!" Nick fired his revolver once again into the partially wounded Vampire that he first encounter before running.
The vampire in Nick path actually got away from him, wanting some other vampire to be the hero and take down this strange human. They were shocked at how fast this human moved as they chased after him, while they were still faster than him it was only slightly!
Nick ran faster than any normal human alive, he was faster than usain bolt despite being nearly double his weight, carrying multiple guns and running on icy snow!
It took Nick just 10 seconds to get to the manhole, the vampires chased him all of the way but didn't attack him. Instead they communicated with one another and demanded the others to attack Nick, too afraid of this anomaly of a human being.
Sure they could probably kill Nick if they all jumped him, but the pain of regenerating their wounds wasn't worth the human blood they'd shared between the four of them. In a town where they just killed and fed on a hundred humand with dozen of them still hiding and ready to be slaughtered, why would they commit to fighting the one human who could harm them.
Kicking the snow off of the lid, Nick looked down at the thick 150 slab of iron that had a single hole at the edge. Normally town officials would stick a crobar into the hole and leverage the man hole off, but Nick didn't have anything resembling a crowbars.
With no other chose, he holstered one revolver and stuck his right middle finger into the small hole and began to pull. *Bang* *Bang*
As he tugged on the manhole, he fired on the approaching vampires hitting one square in the chest while the other managed to dodge in time and only get hit in the shoulder.
These vampires looked at Nick more as a nuisance than a danger, they didn't think he knew how to kill them and saw this as just sport. They even began mocking those who got shot, they had a full month to kill these humans and didn't want the fun to end immediately.
The muscles on Nick's arms bulged and veins rippled forth from it, with just one finger he managed to lift up the giant chunk of iron and drag it to the side. Deactivating his smell, Nick immediately dropped down into the hole, splashing forth sewer water.
"Humanum intrat suus locus naturalis hahaha!" (The human is entering it's natural habitat hahaha)
"homines sordidi sunt, odi eos comedens!"(Humans are filthy things, it revolts me to have to eat them)
" Hunc vivum capiat , epulae nostrae per mensem" (Let capture this one, he'll be our entertainment for the month)
All four of the vampire nodded their heads at this proposal, they began jumping down the hole without any precaution. With a splash they kicked up sewer water, their hands were covering their faces ready for Nick's bullets that never came.
The four vampires looked at one another in confusion before one of them spotted an empty revolver in the distance, right before there was a turn in the sewer.
They didn't think twice about this suspiciously place revolver, they simply ran after Nick and rounded the corner where the gun was placed.
They expected to see the back of a human running away, or perhaps the human to make a feeble final stand. What they didn't expect was to see a giant hulking humanoid of white hair, black nails and a massive snout!
He was slightly crouched over as his 8ft tall height was too large, his body was thick with muscle and fat. In his right hand was the shotgun and in his left was his Kabar knife!
*Boom* *Boom* *Boom* *Boom* *Boom*
Nick unloaded all of his shells into the vampire, the slugs tore through their hands that tried feebly to block them and blew chunks of bone and flesh out of them. Under the affects of his Bear Body, the recoil of the shotgun felt like nothing even though he was hip firing it!
When the shotgun ran out, Nick dropped the gun into the sewer water and got down on all four before running towards the vampires. Due to the small sewer height this way of running was much more efficient and natural to Nick, he quickly closed the distance to the wounded vampires.
The vampire who lead this charge had been dealt the most damage, his right arm was completely shattered and his left was badly damaged, so when Nick attacked it could only feebly bite at him.
This bite was still fast for how wounded it was but Nick's combat experience triumphed over these uncoordinated and primitive attacks, his knife rocketed towards the vampires neck and lopped it's head clean off, permanently killing it.
Despite being permanently dead, these vampire heads were similar to a snakes in that its muscles can still contract and bite after death. The only way to safely dispose of the bodies was to burn them.
The three other vampires had a look of rage overcome them seeing their friend die, they tried to rush Nick simultaneously but couldn't because of the tight sewers. Only two vampires could face Nick at once and the third could only helplessly watch in the back.
Nick quick drew his secondary revolver and unloaded the final three bullets he had in it. With no place to dodge they could only block his bullet which shattered their hands and greatly debilitated the two vampires that face Nick.
Without anymore gun, Nick's hand clenched tightly onto his knife and charged once again. By now the vampires were afraid and wanted to retreat but Nick wouldn't allow that, instead of he kicked the back of decapitated vampire head and sent it flying straight at them!
As if planned, the vampire head landed teeth first into the closest Vampires leg and bite down on reflex! As it tried to pry his previous comrades off, the vampire looked up in horror only to feel a sharp sting on its neck and its head was promptly separated from its body.
The two remaining vampires looked at Nick's hulking figure in fear, his white hair now stained black with their stale blood. They didn't know what creature or being they had messed with but knew they wouldn't live to regret it.
Their loud bloodcurdling screams rang out of the sewer and echoed through the town before being silenced, the vampires above all heard this and felt a shiver down their spine.
The vampires didn't know it yet, but it was now their turned to be hunted down!
