Wang Nuozhi and Kang Minghao walked side-by-side along the narrow stone path.
Wang Nuozhi jabbed a finger at him. "Just tell me you bribed the production team so we'd be paired together!"
Kang Minghao blinked. "Huh? What? Where is this coming from?" He raised both hands defensively. "I didn't bribe anyone! Last time we ended up in the same group too. You didn't complain that time."
"Bullshit!" Wang Nuozhi snapped, hair bouncing with each angry step. "Last time there were other people in our group. I didn't have to worry about being stuck alone with you. But now? Just the two of us? Very convenient, don't you think?"
Kang Minghao let out a low whistle. "Wow… you hate me that much, I suppose?" he asked with exaggerated injury, placing a hand dramatically over his heart.
She rolled her eyes so hard she nearly stumbled. "I'm glad that you're aware!"
"I'm flattered, really," he scoffed.
