Chapter 833 - Chapter 833: The World-Suppressing Sea Emperor Dragon

"Why only attack me and not that damned half-blood?" In the Abyssal Domain, within his Fear Divine Kingdom, the Fear Demon God roared furiously from his throne. He couldn't comprehend what had just occurred.

When that giant beast appeared, it immediately killed him, yet spared Muria, who had slashed him countless times, showing no intention of attacking him at all.

The area had clearly been destroyed by the Titan, not him! He had barely even fought back; it was nothing but a one-sided beating. He was the real victim.

"Why? How could a World-Suppressing Beast be biased? They are supposed to be the most impartial creatures, targeting any being that harms the world. Why only attack me and not that half-blood?"

In his divine realm, the Fear Demon God was puzzled and frustrated. Eventually, he blamed this result on his earlier interference with the material plane.

"Half-blood, since the Wind King Eagle didn't strike you, I will. Do you really think that just because you relied on a World-Suppressing Beast to kill my avatar this time, you're safe? Next time, you won't be so lucky!"

In the seas surrounding Synapsis, the battle was gradually coming to an end. Under the supervision of the seven legendary Naga lords, the corrupted sea beasts in this area had been almost completely slaughtered, unable to stir up any significant trouble.

At this moment, the entire sea was stained black and red, filled with a sinister aura. A faint smell of blood lingered over the waters, and all the sea creatures in this region had been wiped out.

The next step was to figure out how to purify the sea. Otherwise, it would become a literal dead zone, incapable of supporting any life for the foreseeable future.

But soon, the command center of Synapsis realized they wouldn't have to worry about this problem. A massive wave was approaching rapidly from the distance.

"Warning: a high-level legendary creature is approaching at great speed. Warning: a high-level legendary…" The piercing sound of alarms echoed through Synapsis' command center, alerting everyone, including the ancient dragons who were in the midst of their lessons.

Although Muria had no intention of involving these ancient dragons in the war, he still regarded them as an insurance policy, something that could react if unexpected events occurred.

Muria had promised the dragons that if a disaster struck Synapsis and they defended it in its time of need, they would be generously rewarded.

"What's going on?" Synapsis' Chief Steward, Mia, rushed into the command center, immediately questioning the scouting personnel. She needed to know what had happened, and why such a high-level creature had suddenly appeared.

"A high-level legendary creature has emerged. Based on the detected energy levels, it's likely at the peak of the legendary tier, and its size is immense. From the current data, we estimate its body to be over three hundred meters long."

"This war has only just begun, and the enemy has already sent such a powerful creature?" Mia, hearing the report, instinctively labeled the powerful being as one of the evil gods' creatures. After all, the only enemies they were facing at this time were the evil god worshippers on the Senaps Subcontinent.

"Chief Mia, this creature is not from the Senaps Subcontinent; it's coming from the sea."

"The sea?" Mia was stunned. She couldn't recall any instance where Synapsis had offended a powerful sea creature or faction.

"It's here!"

Mia stared intently at the projected screen of the monitoring formation. On the tranquil ocean, a massive ripple formed as something enormous swam just beneath the surface, occasionally revealing glimpses of scales and claws before disappearing again, exuding an air of mystery.

"What kind of creature is this?" Mia was shocked by the sheer size of the beast, which was clearly not an ordinary being. Its size indicated an extremely rare and powerful bloodline.

"It's a Sea Emperor Dragon."

A slightly heavy voice sounded beside Mia, causing her to turn and see her master, Muria, stepping out of a tear in space. Oddly, behind him was a pure white phoenix-like bird, the Wind King Eagle.

"Lord Wind King Eagle!" Mia quickly recognized the bird. She had hesitated at first because this was the smallest form she had ever seen the Wind King Eagle take.

"Hmm," the Wind King Eagle responded coldly and then paid her no further attention.

"Muria, what is this Sea Emperor Dragon? I've never heard of it, and what is it here for?"

"Although it's called a dragon, it has no relation to the Dragon Clan. Sea Emperor Dragons are World-Suppressing Beasts, creatures born from the world itself. They are similar to this esteemed guest here; both are descendants of the original World-Suppressing Beast."

Muria's gaze remained fixed on the projection as he watched the Sea Emperor Dragon rapidly approach, still shrouded in mystery, as its full form had yet to be revealed.

"How should we deal with it?"

"It doesn't seem to harbor any hostility. Let's wait and see what it intends to do." Muria felt a headache coming on at the sight of another World-Suppressing Beast. These beings were the last entities anyone wanted to provoke. They acted as agents of the world's will, and opposing them meant opposing the world itself.

Most of the time, these creatures remained in slumber. Muria hadn't expected his war to awaken such a being, let alone more than one. During the last world-merging event with the Abyss, only the Wind King Eagle had shown up.

As the Sea Emperor Dragon neared the coastal waters of the Senaps Subcontinent, a majestic head rose from the ocean, letting out a clear dragon roar before swiftly vanishing beneath the waves, charging into the polluted waters.

"As expected of a World-Suppressing Beast!" Muria marveled at the changes caused by the Sea Emperor Dragon. After entering the tainted waters, it didn't attack any creatures. Instead, it began using its power to fulfill its duty. Muria clearly saw the water around the beast purify rapidly, transforming from dark and murky to a pristine blue.

The blood-soaked waters beneath Synapsis were turning clear, the pollution vanishing as the World-Suppressing Beast cleansed the sea of all corruption.

"See? I told you, no matter which World-Suppressing Beast arrives, they won't interfere with you," the Wind King Eagle said, turning to Muria. "Do you want to go down and speak with it?"

Muria nodded. Since a World-Suppressing Beast had come, he couldn't just ignore it. These creatures wielded tremendous power, and he needed to maintain a good relationship with them. If they didn't interfere with his war, that was one thing, but if he could sway them to favor him even slightly, it would be a huge advantage.

He didn't need much—just a slight bias, like the way the Wind King Eagle had handled the Fear Demon God's avatar during their battle. That alone would satisfy him greatly.

"Sea Emperor Dragon! I am Muria, child of Titan and Dragon! May I ask your name?" Muria released his massive dragon form, landing in the now-purified sea. With his long tail, his size was comparable to that of the World-Suppressing Beast.

"Red Moon," the Sea Emperor Dragon replied, surveying the enormous golden dragon before it. There was no surprise in its gaze. While Muria's size was impressive compared to ordinary dragons, it was rather small when compared to Dragon Kings.

Having encountered many Dragon Kings before, the Sea Emperor Dragon—while possessing only the maximum power allowed by the world's rules—was capable of speaking to Dragon Kings as equals. In special circumstances, it could even exceed legendary limits.

"Lord Red Moon, may I ask what brings you here?" Muria asked respectfully. He noticed that many of his Naga subordinates and Tide Giants were bowing slightly to the Sea Emperor Dragon, paying homage to the guardian of the ocean.

"As you can see, I'm here to cleanse the sea. Of course, if necessary, I will step in to prevent any excessively intense wars from causing further damage."

"And what kind of intensity would prompt you to act?" Muria inquired seriously.

"Large-scale legendary wars," the Sea Emperor Dragon replied vaguely, not specifying an exact threshold.

"That's…"

"It's unclear, right? It's not just about legendary beings. Any large-scale ecological devastation will compel us to act."

The Sea Emperor Dragon gazed upward, already aware of the Wind King Eagle's presence. World-Suppressing Beasts were always aware of each other.

"Like now, your subordinates have slaughtered all the creatures in this region, causing an ecological extinction. I've come here to restore the ocean and help rebuild the ecosystem as quickly as possible."
