Chapter 831 - Chapter 831: The World-Suppressing Azure Deity

"You are the child of a Titan and a Dragon, Muria?"

"Yes, that's me." Muria wasn't surprised that this figure could recognize him. Even though he had only traveled through the Senaps Subcontinent over two hundred years ago, he was confident that his reputation had spread sufficiently across the land during that time.

"I heard you have an army capable of conquering the entire continent. Where is your legion?"

"Do you think too highly of yourself? The fact that I am personally dealing with you should already be an honor," Muria said calmly, uttering words that made the legendary demonic warlock flush with rage. "If you weren't the first legend discovered by my subordinates, what qualifications would you have to warrant my attention?"

"Muria, don't be so arrogant!" Upon hearing these words, the demonic warlock, who had ruled over the region and instilled fear into its inhabitants, fell into a rage. A hint of madness flickered in his eyes.

His body began to swell rapidly, tearing apart his black robe. Demonic wings, a massive tail, and twisting horns appeared as his body expanded to a height of sixty meters in an instant.

"That's it? Alright, I may have misjudged. If you can survive a single strike from me, I'll spare your life."

"Muria, I admit you're strong enough to kill me in one blow, but what about this?" The demonic warlock grinned wickedly at Muria, and an eerie energy emanated from him. Above his head, a narrow tear in space appeared.

Through this rift, Muria saw a throne surrounded by countless demons, upon which sat a fearsome demon god. As Muria's gaze met the demon god's dark golden eyes, the demon's gaze locked onto him in return.

A wave of cold, fear-inducing energy surged into Muria's mental sea, attempting to incite terror within him. However, when this power extended into the material realm, the laws of the world weakened it, and it failed to cause even a ripple in Muria's mind.

"Not bad!" the ferocious demon god chuckled. From his throne, he stretched out a hand toward Muria. A massive force began to pull Muria toward the spatial rift.

If Muria's physical body could be dragged out of the material world and into the demon's divine domain, no matter how noble his bloodline or sharp his weapons, as long as he was only at the legendary level, he would be at the mercy of the demon god.

But just as this force gripped Muria for less than a second, a battle axe filled with intense killing intent appeared from the sky. The blood-red murderous aura dyed the sky above Muria as the axe cleaved down, its strike seemingly capable of splitting the world in two. The axe blade charged into the spatial rift, aiming for the demon god on the throne.

"Mere imitation!" the demon god roared in anger, raising his hand to catch the axe strike. He crushed the blade with a single motion, sending shards scattering in all directions, killing many of the demons that had been guarding his throne.

"Drip." The sound of thick liquid hitting the ground rang out. The demon god raised his clawed, scale-covered hand to inspect a deep, bone-revealing wound.

"An epic Titan… impressive!" The demon god clenched his fist, and as his hand closed, the wound vanished.

"In this case, would you interfere if I descended with an avatar?"

Though seated within his divine domain, the demon god—wounded by the weapon of an epic Titan—felt a flicker of apprehension and immediately closed the rift connecting his divine realm to the material world.

"What…?" The demonic warlock, who had exhausted much of his power to link the divine realm to the material world, was left dumbfounded. He couldn't understand what had just happened.

Soon, genuine fear filled his face as he felt an overwhelming, domineering presence invade his mind. "Your majesty, spare me!"

"Becoming one with me is your privilege!"

Muria glanced up at the battle axe disappearing into the sky, his expression unchanged. This was exactly why he had dared to launch a war on the Senaps Subcontinent. In this war, no overly powerful forces would intervene.

In simpler terms, if Muria couldn't defeat someone, there would be someone else to deal with it. Anything else was within his ability to handle, or at least it was assumed to be by the epic Titans overseeing him.

"Half-blood brat, it seems your elders won't interfere in this situation." Under Muria's gaze, the demonic warlock's aura underwent a complete transformation, his body swelling once more.

"If I beat you to death in this form, do you think your elders would come for revenge?"

Muria didn't respond to this provocation. Instead, he drew his demon-slaying sword and slashed at the warlock, whose body had clearly been taken over by the demon god's avatar.

He wasn't foolish enough to wait for the demon god to raise his power to its peak before attacking.

"You…" The demon god's avatar, only at the third tier of legend, had just emerged and was immediately struck down, losing an arm to Muria's sword and being kicked to the ground.

Frustration swelled within the demon god. According to his knowledge, Titans were supposed to be brutish fighters looking for a challenge. With such a difference in power, Muria should have patiently waited for him to fully regain his strength before fighting. But this brat didn't follow the usual rules.

"Too much talking!" Muria muttered as he looked down at the demon god's avatar, now lying in the ruins of the warlock's castle. Then, Muria revealed his full Titan form and stomped down...

As Muria brutally beat the demon god's avatar before it could regain full strength, a strange energy ripple spread through the world. The ripple was caused by the appearance of the epic Titan's weapon and the temporary connection between the divine realm and the material world.

In Wind King Castle, the Wind King's Egg, sealed underground, began to tremble. Cracks formed on its azure crystal shell as a powerful heartbeat echoed—the Wind King Eagle was awakening from its long slumber.

Meanwhile, in a distant primeval forest, by a lake that resembled a fairyland, a stag drinking from the water raised its head.

It seemed to sense something. The stag stepped onto the water, walking gracefully as though on solid ground, moving forward with no elemental disturbance. As it walked, its body began to transform.

Its short, small tail grew long, and its soft fur started to vanish, replaced by azure-gold armor plates. From between the plates, a green glow of life energy began to shine.

As the creature's aura spread, the trees around it began to grow wildly. Even the ancient trees, which had stood for centuries, grew visibly larger, and dead trees near the end of their lives bloomed with new vitality. A rich, visible life force filled the forest.

What had once appeared to be a harmless stag was now something far more terrifying. A long tail swayed behind it, and its massive antlers elongated and merged into scythe-like horns. Its body, covered in azure-gold armor, radiated an awe-inspiring majesty.

Its size had also changed dramatically. Once only two meters tall, the stag was now larger than any tree in the forest, towering high above everything with a presence that demanded reverence.

As this godlike being revealed its true form, all the creatures in the forest—birds, beasts, even lowly rodents—bowed down in submission before it.

"The Beast God is angry again!" a white wolf, prostrated in a nearby mountain forest, thought silently.

The wolf had seen this form once before in its youth, when a neighboring kingdom tried to clear the forest with fire to expand their territory. They sent an army to hunt the powerful creatures within the woods.

Their actions awakened the Beast God, who then assumed its current form and left the forest to visit the kingdom. The kingdom was destroyed, its lands consumed by wilderness, all traces of civilization erased by the primal force of the forest.

"But why is the Beast God angry this time? No humans have invaded the forest or caused destruction!"
