"What do you mean?" A strong sense of foreboding grew, and the Dragon Princess's hands involuntarily clenched into fists.
"Exactly what it sounds like," Muria said, looking at the fifteen legendary beings he had intercepted. He ignored the few Grasshopper Gods charging at him with grief and indignation, as several teleportation arrays were forming around him.
The ancient green dragon Fiona, the flame dragon princess Sephilia, the abyssal fiend... All six of Muria's legendary subordinates crossed over through space arrays, blocking the Grasshopper Gods' assault.
"What have you done?" Felicia demanded.
"Indira, drop the disguise!"
With Muria's command, Indira, who had been wantonly flaunting the powerful energy gained from devouring the Grasshopper God-King, cheered. Then, a terrifying shadow of a hideous beast with nine heads, each spewing different elemental breaths, enveloped the five Grasshopper Legends besieging her.
The Dragon Princess watched as her target, the Grasshopper ruler with immense energy, transformed into a super beast with nine heads, each emitting different elemental breaths.
"Is that one of yours?" Witnessing such a scene, Felicia realized that the so-called God-King was actually a legendary being with a special ability in disguise. Muria had already secured the victory prize.
"Of course." Muria smiled, his hand gripping a prison-suppressing spear, gleaming with sharpness. He feared the Dragon Princess might become enraged upon understanding the events.
"When did you get the scepter and crown?" Felicia asked, unwilling to accept the truth.
"Take a guess!" Muria smiled slightly. He had already won and taken the prize; there was no need to provoke the princess further.
"When I first arrived, you could already take the scepter and the crown, couldn't you?" Felicia's eyes flashed with anger as she pieced together the irregularities and came to a bold conclusion.
"At that time, you had already won, but most of the Grasshopper civilization's forces were still here. So, you wanted to use me to wipe them out. As soon as I entered this world, I faced the brunt of their civilization's attacks. It was all your doing, wasn't it?"
"Felicia, go back! This world is already mine," Muria said ambiguously. "When we return to Erathia, I'll treat you to a meal."
Aside from the initial battle upon their arrival, Muria's side had barely fought in the subsequent conflicts with the Grasshopper civilization. The near collapse of the Grasshopper civilization was largely due to the Dragon Princess.
Of course, the Dragon Princess paid a heavy price for this. War meant death. Over 300 million Grasshoppers had died on the battlefield, with more than 500 million dying indirectly due to the relentless and brutal war. Without the suppression of strong beings, the Grasshopper civilization would have already crumbled.
The Dragon Princess didn't fare much better. The legions her siblings had given her were almost completely wiped out, and the human legions she brought suffered over one-third casualties. The reason there were no deserters was due to the lack of retreat options and the suppression by strong beings.
Moreover, three of the legends she brought had fallen. Recruiting them was no easy task. Each legendary being's death might not seem significant to an empire, but to a royal family member, it was a severe blow.
Despite the heavy losses, the Dragon Princess ended up with nothing. Muria felt he owed her a meal to console her and thank her for the contributions she made for him. Normally, obtaining eight worlds would cost Muria more than he could afford at this stage.
"Despicable! Shameless!"
Seeing Muria's smile and the eight Grasshopper Legends being overwhelmed, the Dragon Princess couldn't help but curse. She had been used, turned into a tool, and this result was unbearable.
"You have ten days to organize your legions and leave. This world and the two small worlds you occupied are all mine. Without my permission, you are not allowed to take a single stone," Muria commanded. He tolerated the Dragon Princess's angry outbursts, feeling it was fair given how much he had taken advantage of her.
"You're a real bastard."
"One last thing, if you insult me again, I'll beat you!" Muria said calmly, showing his patience had its limits. He let her curse him three times, which was already very generous.
"You..." Seeing Muria's threatening gaze, even with a legendary dragon beneath her and fifteen legendary protectors in front, the Dragon Princess couldn't help but take a step back. This was a pure reflex, so she defiantly stepped forward three steps to show her courage.
"I'm not afraid of you! You can't scare me!" She said, waving her fists as if to encourage herself.
"You can try. Don't think these people can protect you. If I want to hit you, they can't stop me!" Muria said calmly.
"Even if you're a Titan, you can't underestimate us."
"You're too arrogant, just a first-tier legend."
Muria's words immediately angered the fifteen legends. Such arrogance was intolerable. Titans were formidable, but their bloodline didn't mean they were invincible. They were also legendary beings; how much stronger could he be? Three tiers? Four tiers?
"If you're dissatisfied, feel free to try!" Muria shook his spear, lightning and dragon flames around him becoming more intense. His fighting spirit soared; he hadn't fought enough yet.
"Enough, all of you come back and prepare to return to Erathia," the Dragon Princess ordered expressionlessly. What sense did it make for her legends to fight Muria now? She couldn't afford to lose more. A few worlds were no big deal. If she lost them, she'd just come back another time.
"You've won, Muria. The worlds are all yours," Felicia said to Muria, her expression calm. What she truly felt, only she knew. However, her composure earned Muria's admiration.
"Is this how rich a favored princess is?" Muria watched the departing Dragon Princess, deep in thought. "If that's the case, I should stay in touch with her. It would be a shame not to exploit such wealth a bit more."
"Next, I need to clear out the last obstacles in my world," Muria said, looking at the Grasshopper Gods fighting his legends, his eyes filled with killing intent.
